Het hotel is zeker een aanrader om op doorreis te gaan. Klantvriendelijk en goede service. Het eten is zeer lekker en een bewaakte privé parking. Ik kom hier in 2024 zeker terug.

Ik denk gezien de beoordelingen dat als je jezelf een prins of prinsesje waant.je echt een kasteel moet boeken voor toch dan een wat duurdere prijs.

Wij gingen lunchen. De clubsandwich zag er mooi uit maar was zo droog dat het gewoonweg niet lukte om hem op te eten. Het leek alsof het brood over was van het ontbijt maar al die tijd open had gelegen en toen maar was geroosterd om er vanaf te komen. De kip was droog en niet gekruid en de bacon die juist wel knapperig had mogen zijn was slap. Er zat erg maar zo weinig saus op dat leek alsof het was gesmeerd als een dun laagje boter en dan maar op één van de lagen. We hebben gezegd dat het veel te droog was om te eten, de dame kwam terug uit de keuken met de mededeling dat het enige dat anders was dan normaal het roosteren van het brood was. We kregen koffie/thee aangeboden van het huis maar moesten de lunch wel gewoon betalen. Ze moeten zich hier schamen. Wij geven hiervoor een dikke 0 als cijfer. De dames van de bediening waren overigens wel vriendelijk.

1 nacht geboekt in dit hotel via Trivago. Na de boeking las ik hier de slechte reviews, dus met enige huivering gingen wij 's avonds richting dit hotel. Bij aankomst bleek het een prima hotel. Bij de receptie rook het lekker en zag er fris uit. Vriendelijke medewerker bij de receptie. Wij hadden een familiekamer, 2 eenpersoonsbedden en een stapelbed voor de kinderen. Kamers zijn ruim, badkamer klein en verouderd, maar prima voor 1 nacht. Gordijnen zaten scheuren in en er zou iets beter schoongemaakt kunnen worden. Ontbijt was meer dan prima! Genoeg keuze en werd bijgevuld. Wij boekten dit hotel voor ons 2daags bezoek aan de Efteling. Ligt op 15 minuten rijden van het pretpark, ideaal!

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe.
1. There was no hairdryer in the room – I had to go to the front desk to borrow one.
2. There was no room cleaning service at all.
3. The TV didn’t work, and the remote control was broken. I informed the staff, and they said someone would come fix it, but no one ever did – even by the time we checked out.
4. The customer service was nonexistent, and the staff had a very arrogant attitude.
5. The room facilities were old and poorly maintained. The upper bunk bed was clearly unsafe – it had no guardrail, and a child sleeping up there could easily fall off.
In short, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was truly a terrible experience – as bad as it gets!

the location for us is perfect. Every activity we did was in walking distance. We were sitting outside in the sun with our granddaughter (2 yr) who was wondering around and started 'playing' with little stones in the flower bed. Which turned out full of cat faeces. The breakfast was simple but good, however the highchair we used was broken, the feet were lose and we had to put a block of wood underneath it to keep it stable. For me personally the room was OK, The bathroom however had a light switch that I could not find in the dark. (a little string virtually in the shower). All this was ok if it was a cheap one or two day stay, however it was definitively not good value for money. We go to Vlijmen annually and will be looking for other accommodation
