Castello immerso in un panorama fatto di terra arida e pale eoliche che ricordano i mulini a vento di Don Chisciotte. Ambiente molto elegante che rispecchia in tutto e per tutto l' entroterra siciliano. Sono stata invitata ad un matrimonio pomeridiano e tutto è stato impeccabile: dall' accoglienza all' eleganza della cerimonia civile, allestimento di luci serali, al tovagliato. Il buffet, la cena e i dolci non sono all' altezza della location; buffet di antipasti sotto la media rispetto a molti catering così come la cena. Torta nuziale senza sapore, dolci con eccessiva quantità di zucchero. Un vero peccato!!

Beautiful location and stunning building, only ourselves and the owners there on our two night stay. Lovely staff. Friendly owners. Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. Also a ton of ants in and around bathroom. Tissue box full of them.
Breakfast which was included was poor. Very old looking tomato and cucumber slices and tbh v little choice. Fruit looked like it had been there longer than it should. A large ham which you could slice yourself but knife so blunt a teaspoon would have been more use. No drinks menus on offer for coffees etc. in honesty the worst breakfast I’ve had on our many trips to sicily. We nearly booked here for our wedding last year… relieved we didn’t tbh. Foyer area absolutely stunning, this needs to have a bar in it, would be a lovely place to sit and have drinks.
The stay was for our wedding anniversary. Although no other guests.. no room upgrade offered. We are elsewhere on the evening rather than have our anniversary dinner there after seeing how poor breakfast was.

Beautiful property and overall wonderful experience. One serious downside was lack of a shower. We had a spacious room (13 I think) but it had only a tub with a handheld nozzle for hairwashing. No shower curtain. Needless to say, we were not successful at bathing body and head without spraying bathroom. And when I asked for extra towels (having used ours to clean up flooding) we got one new one. Not a good scene. Most of the rooms have showers though. Otherwise a beautiful property with wonderful food and wine.

Il castello si trova nella campagna, a tratti anche boschiva, nei pressi di Vizzini. Per raggiungerlo si percorre una strada isolata e poi, una volta entrati, attraverso un cancello ben segnalato, nella proprietà si percorrono circa un altro paio di km prima di raggiungerlo. E’una meraviglia, un palazzo costruito sulle rovine di un castello, che serviva per la gestione delle terre, ben ristrutturato nel rispetto della costruzione originale, arredato con gusto e misura, è una lussuosa oasi di pace. Il palazzo crea al proprio interno una corte, ora giardino, con ai quattro lati le camere ed il ristorante. Io ho soggiornato in una camera superior dotata di un meraviglioso caminetto, che data la stagione, abbiamo acceso ogni sera. La stanza è molto ampia, il letto comodissimo, ovviamente il silenzio c’è, bagno spazioso, dotato di ogni comfort ed anche di finestra. Ottima la climatizzazione. Il personale è estremamente cortese, professionale, ma al tempo stesso amichevole. Bello il giardino con piscina, peccato la stagione non permettesse di usufruirne. La colazione viene servita nel ristorante, è presente un buffet e poi si viene serviti dal cameriere: ottima la qualità, prodotti del territorio, genuini e semplici, grande la varietà. Mi sono sentito un principe!I

Abbiamo deciso di festeggiare una delle giornate più importanti della nostra vita al Castello Camemi e non avremo potuto fare scelta migliore. Servizio e cucina impeccabile. Siamo stati coccolati e serviti da tutto lo staff con la massima attenzione e cura anche nei piccoli dettagli. Il banchetto è stato perfetto. Le camere, sposi e ospiti, accoglienti e bene arredate. Anche i nostri ospiti hanno apprezzato Il posto, l’atmosfera è la qualità di tutto. Abbiamo vissuto il nostro matrimonio come una favola e per questo saremo sempre grati a tutto lo staff del Castello Camemi.

What a delightful place! We spent several days at Castillo Camemi as a base of operations for a guided bike trip in the rolling hillsides of rural Sicily. The staff were all so courteous and helpful. They went out of their ways to make us feel at home. The restaurant was lovely, including room service. And the setting? Beautiful! Wonderful people in a delightful castle in a peaceful setting. We give this place our best recommendation: we will visit again!

Abbiamo partecipato ad un matrimonio in questa meravigliosa location, e poi pernottato al termine del ricevimento. L’organizzazione dell’evento e’ stata impeccabile, il servizio attento, elegante e premuroso, tutte le proposte gastronomiche si sono rivelate raffinate e particolarmente curate. Un sogno il pernottamento al temine dell’evento, in una stanza soppalcata con vista sulla piscina e sulla campagna circostanze, dotata di tutti i comfort e con prodotti da bagno di qualità

Located in a very quiet and isolated area, with beautiful gardens and a very impressive inner court yard. The outer gardens are green, with beautiful plants, well maintained and can host garden or pool parties. The restaurant is beautifully arranged with soft arches, big windows, the staff is very attentive but overall a bit too expensive for what it has to offer. The inside hall and the rooms are cold looking, outdated and kind of spooky, not really matching the luxury displayed in the advertising pictures but I guess a castle is supposed to be like this...The road from the gate to the castle is badly maintained and the occasionally repaired potholes are signalled by 2 plastic containers. The cactuses at the balconies aren't giving a welcoming look but more of a hostile one. Due to it's high altitude location, I believe it can be a very good and cool place to be in the middle of the summer when temperatures are a bit too high elsewhere. I would say this castle is excellent for a trip back in time, for events or group gatherings and less suitable for couples. As a solo traveller, I would completely avoid this hotel, it might feel extremely lonely...Definitely not a 5 star hotel, neither a 5 star experience.
