This is really the best hotel on the main island. We stayed here for shark diving. It's hard to describe the accommodation on the main island. It was a pleasant surprise to stay here. The hotel is very private and very suitable for bringing children. There is a babysitting service, a beach, and you can watch the sunrise. And you won't feel that there are too many people. Service: Good. I will introduce it to you after checking in. Restaurant: The taste is very good. The price of dinner is a bit high. We spent 310FJD for two people. I didn't order wine because of allergies. Activities: The hotel has a lot of activities, including yoga, paddle boarding, coral planting, etc. The Fiji Night at night is also very special. Spa: I had a spa, but the spa is not on the beach, which is a small disadvantage.

If you want the best experience possible in Fiji then stay at this resort. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by warriors and treated like a family member. The villas are gorgeous and spacious. The food is top notch. The service is unparalleled. The spa is heaven! So many different massages, so little time- I wish I could have gone back again! And the best part for me was the excursions available from their perfect location. Their guides will take you to the best places and keep you safe. I had the best adventures which I will never forget. Loved this resort! I highly recommend it.

While the resort and our garden villa was lovely the experience was tainted by the cold food and long waits for service. Out of 5 days worth of food service, we only had 2 breakfast dishes served hot. All our lunches were cold and we sent back many items. The dinners were equally cold or over cooked. We had to ask at least 3 times to get salt and pepper. Then the shakers would be empty. Our drink orders were often delivered after we received our mains. And the mains would take 20-30 minutes…and then were cold. We at almost every service we had to ask where our drinks were. Super disappointing. The running joke going to a meal was on how cold it would be. Even after asking at every order to please make sure it was hot. The servers and other staff were very pleasant. So not sure if this is a kitchen issue or staff on Island time.

Nanuku is not a place you leave easily and happily. From the special warriors welcome when you arrive to the poignant farewell song when you leave, you feel like you become family here. The type of resort and its size means it never feels too busy and allows the staff to give you the genuine and personal service and treatment that you don’t get in huge resorts. The rooms are so beautiful and we enjoyed the huge space of a 2 bedroom Villa (which people should be aware is 2 separate rooms accessed by an external staircase so if you have young kids they may not feel comfortable staying by themselves in a room). The room inclusions are great. I was worried about only being able to eat at one restaurant for the whole 7 nights there, but they changed the menu every day so there were plenty of choices and variety. The food was of a high standard. It unfortunately rained for 5 days while we were there but we loved the resort so much that we enjoyed the relaxing time and used the breaks in the rain to walk the beach or do onsite activities. All of the staff make a special effort to talk to you in the resort, from restaurant staff, housekeeping, the porters, the activity coordinators and the landscaping team. The concierge team should be commended on making nothing too much trouble and always remembering our names. A special mention needs to go to Louise and Chief Maka, who made us feel extra welcome. I could go on for ages but I’ll stop there! Oh! One more thing! My girls are teenagers (14 and 16) and thought they were too old for the kids club so didn’t use it. On the last night one of the kids club coordinators invited them to join them at a bonfire and roast marshmallows and when they came back they realised they could have had a great time there had they joined in earlier. They cater for all ages and do it so well.

Amazing resort down to every last detail! Traveled with two teenage girls. I will be back. Food was amazing. We did island trip and caught two fish. The chef prepared this for us at dinner. Our 13 year old thought ahe was too old for the kid's club, but once there, she never left. Only negative, was the cold pool.

I think if I had to pick the most amazing thing that makes this place special, I would have to say the staff. They are warm, wonderful and welcoming. The location is absolutely stunning- as are the villas! The food is excellent. The cultural experience sets this place apart from the rest. The 3 hour trip from the airport is a little long and would be worth looking at the internal flight which is 30 mins. A completely unforgettable experience, wish we didn’t have to come home and can’t wait to go back!

Bula Tomasi As you know we recently attend our friends wedding at Nanuku Resort in June. Initially, I left a short and sweet review, avoiding too much detail about the disappointing experience we had. However, I was shocked when the General Manager responded with a scathing message aimed at me personally, while taking no accountability for his staff's actions. It became clear that he had been given a completely different version of events. In an effort to resolve things professionally, I removed my review and emailed him directly. After receiving no response for a week, I followed up again. It has now been over three weeks and I’ve still heard nothing. As I mentioned we attended a friend’s wedding – a beautiful event, and the couple was lovely. Once the wedding concluded, my husband and another guest returned to the wedding villa to gather personal belongings and sort out our bills. I wasn’t aware that this had happened as I had met two other guests at the bar. After finishing my drink, I started walking to the reception away from the bar. Out of nowhere, I was surrounded by at least 10 men who would not allow me to leave, as the bill had not been settled. I tried to explain that my phone was dead, but if you could charge it, I’d call my husband or settle the bill myself. The staff took my phone for over 10 minutes and then returned, claiming they couldn’t charge it. I was told I couldn’t leave until the bill was paid. I also suggested adding the charge to the bride's room so we could settle it later. However, by this point, I was feeling extremely intimidated and unsafe as more men appeared. At one point, I counted at least 15 men surrounding me, some even hiding in the bushes along the walkway. I would like to know what your staff expected to happen when they surrounded one person, in a foreign country, with no means of communication? I felt frightened, vulnerable, and trapped. Eventually, my husband returned to reception with the other guest, and this is when things continued . He called over one of your supervisors to ask what was going on. It was then that my husband became upset, as one of your staff members admitted to knowing that he was getting his wallet to pay the bill. The other guest confirmed this as well. That is when it escalated because your staff were made aware that my husband was getting his wallet to pay the bill. The supervisor told us that he will take care of the bill and that we didn’t need to pay. But husband still insisted to pay and was refused.  I acknowledge that I swore during this exchange, but I was under extreme stress, feeling both intimidated and unsafe. However, I believe it’s crucial that your staff also take responsibility for their actions and not offer a different narrative than what occurred. If I was such an issue, can you explain why your staff took my phone to "charge" for over 10 minutes? Was this an attempt to delay or create further pressure? You often state that the safety of your staff an

Just spent 5 nights in this incredible resort. We hadn’t a suite for a family of four and absolutely had the best time. The resort feels high end but also beautifully homely. You know you’ve had a great holiday when you don’t want to leave! The staff are amazing and our children absolutely adored the “buddies” they’d been paired with at the kids club. We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend this place.
