The service was good and the food was good. The facilities were a bit old, but I found that booking directly on the official website was about 40% cheaper than booking on trip.com.

Wonderful location right on the beach, with high quality snorkelling out the front of the resort. Chris and team are extremely attentive, including looking after our baby throughout the stay which was very nice of them. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Fabulous stay, staff were fantastic and the location is stunning. The property is very well kept by several grounds staff and the free activities were a real bonus, especially the reef walks and water sports.
We had one of our best ever holidays here.

The resort’s rooms and amenities were great, but what separated Maui Palms from any resort experience I or any of my family members have ever had was the staff and their service. We have never been treated more like family by hospitality staff. Before arriving in Fiji for my first time, I had imagined having a somewhat ordinary resort experience, which would’ve been completely fine considering the context of our family reunion and a desire for a relaxing time at a resort, but what we ended up experiencing was an extraordinarily special time, face to face with the Fijian culture of family connection and a more simple, natural way of life. It’s hard to imagine getting a chance to experience anything similar to this at any other resort in the world. I know that sounds like hyperbole without sharing more details of our one week stay, but the staff really left my family of 36 (which booked out the entire resort) with that impression. An incredible staff full of kind souls. Vinaka to Chris, Aku, Fili, and the rest of the Maui Palms team, forever!

Pros: Great hotel, management is top notch! Clean, fresh with updates, great location. Felix ,Aki, and Fele' are such assets to the hotel staff. Gorgeous pools, clean and well maintained. Cons: Shower took forever (7-10 minutes) to get warm enough to use. Washer/dryer in my apartment didn't work, but management did my laundry for free! Take advantage of businesses across the street. My husband and I got the couples massage for $50 fjd total at the Pink Spa. Loved our stay here!!!

Hidden gem! The rooms were large and clean...we stayed in the garden room which provided privacy. The food and cocktails were the best we had through Fiji. Beachfront with snorkeling right in front. Daily free tours. Felix was amazing. The entire staff was great! The hospitality of all the staff was too notch. The best place we have stayed at in Fiji.

The short answer is it is very good. My wife and I found it very pleasant. Food good, location was good even though it was on a busy road. The only fly in the ointment was the transfer to Nadi and the driver was very bad. Fortunately the management listened to our concerns and the trip back was much much better. It is an honest that is really worth a try so if there is just the two of you do yourself a favour and go.

Liked the place and if ever in Fiji again this is a place I would book again.
Great service, enjoyed all my meals there, and prices were good. Meals come to you right on time and you get flexibility on where you want to have your meal.
The hotel has coral reef right at its shore, lots of fish to see and beautiful coral.
Some reviews mention rocks, but is more like coral off the shore. Let’s just say if you snorkel there, there is no need to book another expensive snorkeling outing. All round recommendation from me.
