Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront

We were on the 8th floor and the ocean view was amazing.  So peaceful, we didn’t hear any beach noise.  All the rooms face the ocean, which is so cool.  Comfortable beds with silky sheets. Nice bathroom.

Horrible. Psid 250 for a room across the street from ocean. The smell if smoke in my non smoking room was gross. The lock was broken. The room was dark and there was s hair in the sink I will never stay at a Ramada again

When we first got here, it was easy to check in and we went right up to our room. .In the evening we noticed the sliding door was hard to close, and the tub would not drain very properly. The next day, the room got very hot Due to the sliding door not being able to close tightly, so I called for maintenance, and he was up in my room within 5 minutes after me calling. He not only fixed the sliding door very quickly, but unclogged the tub and even change the filter in air conditioner and within 30 minutes after my room was cooled off. He even brought me a better chair for the patio. The staff was all so friendly but a bit Shout out to Andre for he politeness and urgency to fix my issues.

The location was perfect with a balcony view of the boardwalk/ocean front. Check In/check out went smoothly. The only issue is was the bathroom was not cleaned very well it was not dirty just a lot of hair still remained in tub, floor and around the toilet. The balcony door we couldn’t get it to lock back but it closed this was no big issue. Breakfast was supposed to be included but did not see breakfast being served The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The room was spacious enough for 4 adults, I would recommend to friends & stay at this Ramada again.

At midnight the manager ms Keller and hotel security tried to break into my room. There was a short knock, then a bang as the lock slammed, damaging the door frame. A face in the crack asked if there was someone there. I said yes this is my room. The door shut. I called the front desk and was told that it was the manager and security. In the morning I tried speaking with the manager to make shure I was not charged for any damage. The manager ms Keller, was combative, argumentative, and obstinate. She argued to my face that " no one tried to bust in your room, I was there, it was already like that, and we have the right to go in any room we want." She called her boss and told me to come back later at 2pm to speak with him. Then left the front desk to go hide in her office. I have yet to receive any email stating that I will not be charged for damage. Worst hotel experience I have ever had, and worst customer service i have ever had. Go somewhere else, save yourself the drama.

I Enjoyed it me and my family enjoyed ourselves good service the staff was nice and polite rooms was very clean nice and neat
