The Courtyard Marriott on 37th street was very clean, modern, and in the perfect location for us. It was near two good restaurants (Mellow Mushroom and Pocahontas Pancke and Waffles) which we ate at. Called housekeeping to request additional pillows, and they were brought up. We were on the 11th floor, and our room had a balcony - that view every morning and evening was spectacular! Two pools - inside, which we didn't use, and outdoors, which was nice and clean. Loved that hotel is on the boardwalk and within a minute or two, we were walking in the sand. Priced reasonably for oceanfront rooms.

Beautiful views of the ocean but the staff made our stay wonderful. They were friendly and full of suggestions right from the start making us feel comfortable and excited about our girls' 70th birthday celebration. A special shout out to Chef Ford and his staff. Not only do they make incredible breakfasts at the Bistro but run a very good buffet. When I had a spoiled milk incident, they were most apologetic and pro-active in making sure I had fresh everything. They investigated and took action and were very accommodating for any unpleasantness I incurred. Thank you Chef Ford!

Traveled to Virginia Beach with the family and enjoyed our stay here. The Courtyard is a bit dated but just perfect for families. GREAT location, really nice pools, great beach and friendly service. (Oh and the kids loved the afternoon warm cookies). There are a large number of restaurants close by and too many to count on the Boardwalk. Our room was a one bedroom suite that had a patio overlooking the ocean. Excellent stay!!

Stayed here during Jackalope festival. Room was clean and spacious. More than enough room for myself and two teenagers. The rooms are super updated but we didn’t mind. The he pool is one of the nicer ones in the area for sure. Even has a pool bar. What stood out the most during our stay was the customer service. Everyone from the front desk, bartender, housekeeper, etc was super friendly. I was actually surprised by how nice they all were. I would stay here again just for that!

I didn’t like the fact they waiting til I got all the way to the hotel to check for them to tell me the room I booked a month ago was over booked so I couldn’t get the room I booked I got a smaller room and that made me very upset cause I could’ve went to another hotel
