Wow-so disappointed with this hotel. I’m a Marriot brand loyalty-spent 86 nights so far in 2025 and this was my a trip with my husband for our anniversary. We arrived around 5pm after a long drive and were greeted by a new but very friendly desk lady. We were given a room on top floor and went up in the one working elevator to the top floor, dragged all our stuff to the corner room with excitement and opened the door…room was filthy with empty pizza boxes and empty beer boxes and an unmade bed. Ok. Deep breath and we hauled everything back to wait for the one working elevator to take us back down to front desk. Apologies etc-given key to new room. Waited again for the one working elevator, dragged our stuff to the new room, opened the door…and another dirty room with unmade bed etc. ugh!!!. Dragged our stuff back to elevator-waited another 10 minutes and back to front desk. While I am looking at my Hilton app to see what other options are available in the area the nice but clearly overwhelmed front desk lady promises they have a clean room somewhere for us and she personally goes to find one while we sit feeling defeated in lobby. Eventually a clean room is found on fifth floor-my husband is now making jokes about so much for brand loyalty and asking for points. The reception lady promises to write up incident and says manager will take care of us. Fast forward to our departure and we walk by manager as we are checking out. Long conversation about broken elevator and the dirty rooms. Manager promises to take care of it and add points to my account. Yeah-lots of words and insincerity and a week later no points. There are plenty of oceanfront hotels in VA beach-I’d recommend to steer clear of this property and find something a little less dated, cleaner and more concerned with guests.

Excellent staff All staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very helpful and supportive. The only downside I have to say is our room was only cleaned maybe the first 2 days out of the 7 we stayed. They would come knock in the door, but if we were out the door by 11ish they didn’t seem to have come back after that knock. At least the pile of dirty towels u see the sink never got taken away. But overall I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Virginia Beach

10/10 - Family Trip 4 nights family trip. Booked 1 bedroom suite. I’ll mention fantastic staff first. Excellent location, clean rooms, kitchen with 4 burner stove, fridge, microwave, balcony overlooks ocean, tasty and ample breakfast options, nice pool and a small jacuzzi to relax and soak in, food options both right, left and infront of the hotel. Parking is challenging since hotel has very limited and tight spaces. But they offer free valet service which keeps the car at a nearby lot. So make sure to call for your car before coming down. 1 minute walk to the beach so that’s brilliant. I would however request maintenance of air conditioning unit. Atleast in our room it was either too cold or too hot. This is one hotel you don’t want to miss if you are coming to Virginia Beach.

I am a bonvoy gold membership. This hotel was absolutely terrible. I tried to prevent going public, but after having a filthy room that took five days to clean and then have the room flood, we had enough. They would not offer another room that was not soaked with water...
