Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

I chose this hotel after a terrible experience at a Hilton property further down the beach, under a flag change and clearly not living up to Hilton expectations. However, I was able to leave, book this hotel, check in, and feel very welcome, quickly. Room was clean, common areas were spotless, breakfast was extensive, staff were kind and responsive. Wifi was reliable and desk area in room conducive to working. Bed was comfortable, views were terrific, and I'll be back.

Deeply disappointed with this experience. Our room was nice and quiet, however, the hotel vastly oversold the rooftop pool and bar! Vastly! The pool was the size of a backyard pool and was overcrowded with guests. There was no shade on the rooftop so seating was a challenge. We tried to get towels for the beach only to find that there were none. Finally there are 3 elevators to service all 19 floors or rooms, and the service elevator wasn’t working! The line to get upstairs took 40 minutes at one point, when the cleaning crew had to get upstairs too. I walked up 16 floors, that’s not possible for many guests. The experience was a total disappointment and I would never stay there again under any circumstance.

My husband and I checked in Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront on July 20th to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, while settling in for the evening, the air conditioning unit in our room began malfunctioning. We called for a technician, but he was unable to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the unit had a small explosion. The technician informed us he would go to the front desk to get keys to a new room. We had originally booked a Corner King Oceanfront Room, but due to availability, we were moved to a double room with a partial ocean view. I was incredibly disappointed, as the oceanfront view is the main reason I come to the beach. The night agent assured us this would only be for one night until our room type became available the next morning. So, my husband and I made the best of it and toughed it out. The next morning after breakfast, we checked with the front desk to follow up. Unfortunately, there had been no updates and the room that we were promised on the previous night had been assigned to someone else. But God placed two amazing women in our path that morning; Alrica and Jenese. These ladies went above and beyond to make things right. They were diligent, kind, understanding, and truly compassionate. They represented the Hilton Brand with excellence and reminded me of the hospitality it stands for. Thanks to them, my anniversary trip was put back on track. They upgraded us to a beautiful suite, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for their help. A heartfelt thank you to Alrica, Jenese and the rest of the Hilton Staff who turned what started as a disappointing experience into a truly memorable celebration.

This is THE place to stay when visiting virginia beach. It is right next to the neptune’s park. Ample activities including concert. Onsite restaurant is good. There is a skybar located on the 21st floor which offers a good bird’s eye view. Parking is right across street. Valet or self park. In and out privilege. Shout out to Paige at the front desk- she is fabulous. We feel welcomed. When we decided to extend the stay, at a time when the hotel is sold out, she helped us to make it as smooth as possible. The hotel has three elevators. Can take a little wait at times but not too bad.

I absolutely enjoyed the service and energy from the front desk especially from Bryant he was very accommodating. Had a great time and enjoyed the process of getting checked in.

The hotel was superb. Food in the restaurant was very good. We ate all three meals there. The wait staff was exceptional. The front desk staff were friendly and knew their roles perfectly. Trevor was a gem. When my room fridge was not working well they let me put my insulin in the employee refrigerator. Each time I asked for something at the desk someone was at our room in minutes. Any hour of day. Parking was smooth and simple. Obviously, this staff has tremendous leadership at the hotel to guide them. A very relaxing five nights. By the way the cleaning staff did a fine job of caring for the room. Thanx you
