B bou hotel-la Viñuela & Spa - best in class
A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The service from staff has been exemplary, with particular regard for David (in the restaurant) and Sequoia (uncertain spelling, on reception). They, and others have been great advisers to first-time visitors. Other staff were excellent in minor interactions. Our only complaint would be about the delay with check-in procedures, but that was soon dismissed by us. We will be back... Even fellow clients are worthy of mention, particularly Dermot and Patricia from Leinster, Ireland

Stayed here 20 years ago but the hotel is so much better now. Fantastic pool and sunbathing area with quality beds, shades and views.
Food was also excellent and can highly recommend a Junior Suite with a fantastic bed, bathroom, lounge and balcony.
The location is out of town, but centred nicely for the main tourist attractions and only 20 mins from the lovely beach front at Torre Del Mar.
Not sure what more I can say but if you are looking for a relaxing quality hotel in a beautiful quiet setting, I can’t see you finding one better in Andalusia.

My partner has family in Nerja and so we visit the area often but this was our first stay to La Vinuela, and we are so happy that we have discovered it. Everything about our stay was top class. The staff were attentive, welcoming and extremely polite. We had an outstanding evening meal which happened to coincide with my partner’s birthday and he was treated to a special dessert with a rendition of happy birthday by the pianist 😊 the location and hotel itself are quiet and tranquil so it was the perfect place for us to escape our busy lives for a mini break. Hoping to return in the summer to take more advantage of the beautiful outside areas.

Had the missfortune to go to this pretentious and gaudy Hotel for an 80th party. Poor signage, couldnt find the entrance!! Sat down to a very expensive menu of poor food served by indifferent staff! Will not recommend or return. Needs updating and better priced well cooked food. Staff need onsite training.

5 day romantic getawaway in a classic room
The hotel is in great condition, the staff is very friendly, it is very chique and has - lot of history. With the age and style comes a noise insulation that is not up to todays standard. I will still always prefer these 2cm thick marble tiles in the bathroom over a soundproof door.
The breakfast is good, but does not vary. You can order eggs from the kitchen,
But the cold platter you get served always has 3 slices of Manchego, 3 slices of ham, 1/2 avocado and 2-4 slices of salmon. Slightly boring after 2-3 days even if the

Family Wedding
The hotel was very clean. Food, ambiance and staff were all excellent. Check in and out was effortless. Would hire a car next time as taxi's are sporadic. A perfect place to chill out and relax. Can't wait to go back.

Disappointing
A bit disappointing. The first room we were allocated smelled strongly of eggs/sulphur. The room was changed without a fuss. Both rooms were smaller than expected.
I made a booking online for a pedicure which was confirmed by email. When i got there they told me this wasn't a service they offered. I booked a massage for the following day. The spa was locked when i got there. No one turned up. Reception, where i made the booking said they did not have a booking.
The bar and restaurant are were very pleasant but the staff were inattentive and it was almost impossible to get their attention to order a drink. We weren't supposed to go up to the bar but had to to place an order
I would say the hotel is pretty nice but overpriced for what is on offer.

Marvelous
Everything was perfect ! It was our second stay at B bou Hôtel and we will surely repeat the experienc ein a very near futur !
