We stayed for just one night but it was a last minute break as we only live an hour away. Not stayed here before but knew the location and due to the winter rains knew the lake would be full of water and that the views would be lovely. Not disappointed at all, the views were superb. The hotel is a perfect size with only 36 rooms or so Therefore service is great and you never ever feel anyone is rushing you or needing to get a sun bed like down on the coast It’s quiet and discreet and the quality of the rooms is great and they are spotless The food in the hotel is also superb and overall our stay we great value for money and will go back The massage by Juan was out of this world having had massages all over the world but his technique is unique and highly effective and relaxing Really recommend this hotel

A beautiful hotel, rooms are exceptional and clean. The restaurant menu is made with a lot of love and pride, all freshly sourced (fish and meat) & healthy and a lot of vegetarian options. The pool & gardens are beautiful and everything is very well maintained. I recommend trying the spa, Jose and Mar are true professionals, as it adds to the whole relax experience.A special thanks to Mayca at reception, and the restaurant staff (daniel silvia and the staff who work really hard) x

Wonderful hotel, very friendly staff - especially the waiters (including Paco, David and the young waiter, sorry forgot his name), dinner was excellent (high quality fresh products), a sympathetic pianist brightened up our dinners= fantastic. Good wine list. 1 minus - a couple days there was some noise disturbance by the pool from renovation works on the rooms (grinding wheel), this ended on the stated end date on a signboard and that was ok. We choose this hotel to take a rest, so that was not so nice. Pitty we were not informed about these works prior to finalize our booking. But we didn't hear the works in our room. So minor complaint compaired to all the rest of the hotel that was super.

B bou is a sort of rural resort. Quite remote, so when you have checked in there are few options for eating and activities outside of the grounds. At least by foot, so alternatives requires a car. It's chic and interiors a bit "bling-bling" and trying to show more than there is. But, it has to be said it is quite elegant and you feel very comfortable once you're there. The rooms are fine and nice and corresponds to the official four stars. Our standard room was small but not cramped. All amenities aboard. AC functioning. A private terrace adjoining the room. Since it's more or less away from any urban disturbances, the night was quiet and calm. Their view of a "queen size bed" is rather restricted. No problem for us, but if you need space beside your partner, it's a bit narrow. The public areas are nice and spot on a place like this with four stars. Breakfast had a surprisingly small variety of choices on the buffet part, but eggs to order (scrambled, fried, etc) compensated a bit. Two espresso/coffee machines supplied the warm drinks, but whenever one of them jammed, queues built up rather quickly. Spa facilities in a separate building adjacent to the main entrance. A large and well maintained pool a few steps away. Staff generally polite and nice. The lady in the reception was however having a cold, which she exposed by coughing loudly in front of the arriving guests. Not so nice. On the whole a typical resort of better kind, more or less worthy of its four stars.

This hotel is in the perfect natural location and the food offer is simply stunning . We were particularly surprised by the quality of the rooms which seem to be freshly redesigned and upgraded . We will comeback to this hotel for a longer stay very shortly .

B bou hotel-la Viñuela & Spa - best in class A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The service from staff has been exemplary, with particular regard for David (in the restaurant) and Sequoia (uncertain spelling, on reception). They, and others have been great advisers to first-time visitors. Other staff were excellent in minor interactions. Our only complaint would be about the delay with check-in procedures, but that was soon dismissed by us. We will be back... Even fellow clients are worthy of mention, particularly Dermot and Patricia from Leinster, Ireland

Stayed here 20 years ago but the hotel is so much better now. Fantastic pool and sunbathing area with quality beds, shades and views. Food was also excellent and can highly recommend a Junior Suite with a fantastic bed, bathroom, lounge and balcony. The location is out of town, but centred nicely for the main tourist attractions and only 20 mins from the lovely beach front at Torre Del Mar. Not sure what more I can say but if you are looking for a relaxing quality hotel in a beautiful quiet setting, I can’t see you finding one better in Andalusia.
