Hotel Castellverd

Pasamos una noche agradable. La ubicación no fue de nuestro agrado por estar fuera del centro urbano y utilizar el vehículo cada vez que quisiéramos salir por Vinaroz. No habia ni una papelera en todo el hostal y en la habitación no disponer de una neverita pequeña por lo menos no nos gusto mucho. Pero hay que decir que el trato fue muy bueno.

Precisábamos un hotelito para hacer noche de camino hacia Cataluña. Hotel ubicado junto a la carretera de entrada a Vinaros. Parking gratuito. Habitación limpia y ordenada, con aire acondicionado. Dispone de piscina y bar. Muy buena atención del anfitrión. Es un hotel de los de antes, pero para una estancia corta nos vino fenomenal.

Disastrous experience. The photos don't do it justice. Everything much worse. They don't make your bed any day, 1 roll of paper for 3 people with 2 nights and 3 days. Pretty bad location in the middle of a road. But the worst of all is that I left a piece of clothing hanging in the closet, forgotten when we left, and a couple of hours later I called to pick it up and what was my surprise when the owner told me that there was nothing there and that the girl From the cleaning he has not seen anything...it seems that the garment has disappeared by magic. I try for a long time and several calls to make the owner understand that it is safe there (since it is not in my suitcase) and there is no way for them to return it to me, insisting that they do not have it. And at all times the owner was very rude to me, including yelling and showing disrespect, indicating that if the item did not appear it was my problem and that he would not exaggerate because it was not a Rolex. In short, nothing is saved.

The only positive thing was the air conditioning in the room. Otherwise, the experience was FASTER!! We had a room without a window where there was no place to put our suitcases and the bathroom window faced a wall. We only had one roll of toilet paper for 3 people (we stayed 3 days and 2 nights) so we had to use Kleenex because they didn't even come into the room to replace it. Breakfast does NOT cost €4 as it says on the website, but €7.50 because according to the man who served us "That was already worth the squeezed orange juice" that they served. So the information on the website is not true. The hostel has a swimming pool but the hours are ridiculous. Forget about taking a bath first thing in the morning since you can't get in until 11am. Another thing that the website doesn't tell you is that to go to the beach you have to cross the road if you are walking. So you need a car if you want to risk your life, since the hostel is in an industrial area. Oh!! and don't leave anything forgotten by accident!! because they won't give it back to you. In short, a very bad experience! I don't recommend it at all!

Hotel perdido en la nacional, dónde para llegar a la playa tienes que cruzarla sin ningún paso para ello. Todo una aventura! Llegamos 30 minutos antes de la hora del check-in y nos mandaron a comer (al único bar que encuentras por los alrededores) sin darnos opción a dejar las maletas allí. Cuando al fin nos dejaron entrar, nos habían cambiado la habitación triple por dos habitaciones separadas. Enanas y sin luz natural. Cuando quise ir al baño mientras estaba en la piscina me mandaron a la habitacion dado que el bar no estaba abierto y no había más baños públicos. No nos dejaron pagar 6€ en tarjeta porque al dueño le venía mejor en efectivo, que no llevábamos y tuvimos que sacar solo para el. Por último y ya para rematar el último día no pudimos bañarnos en la piscina una vez hicimos el checkout porque tampoco le apeteció. En resumen, no volveré y no aconsejaría a nadie que fuera.

For almost €100 per night without breakfast, the least I expect is to find the bed made for me, having left at 9:00 am and returned at 5:00 pm I have not been in a hotel with a worse value for money. The treatment of the responsible person has been kind, but the establishment is not worth it. Next to a road with a lot of traffic, although with the windows closed there is not much noise. Small bathroom without a window, with a very small shower tray. They have not renewed or changed the gels/soaps.
