Fijne herberg, heerlijk stille omgeving, er hangt een serene rust ook tijdens diner. Geen overheersende muziek of i.d. Personeel kundig en uiterst vriendelijk. Dineren is er culinair genieten. Keuze uit 3,4,5 of 6 gangen met diner van de chef. In 1 woord verrukkelijk. Kamers zijn voorzien van prima bedden en matrassen en ruime badkamer. Koffie en thee gratis te pakken op de gang. Ontbijt geserveerd op een plank, precies genoeg voor een goed ontbijt. Vers en lekker. Terras is er ook goed vertoeven, lekker in de zon een loungebank en genoeg tafeltjes. Al met al prijs kwaliteit uitstekend.

Zonder enige review te hebben gelezen kozen wij voor een overnachting in dit hotel. Na een verrassend frisse mocktail op het terras werden wij nogmaals verrast door een heerlijk diner meer heerlijke begeleidende wijn. Bediening was heel vriendelijk. Niveau van de keuken is aanzienlijk hoger dan wat je doorgaans verwacht in een gelegenheid als dit. Wij vonden het heel leuk om te zien hoe het team van de Klomp gastheerschap naar een hoger plan tilt.

Ik begrijp de goede recensies niet. We hebben er geluncht. Allereerst had de bediening er weinig zin in, was zelfs onaardig. De Aperol Spritz was waterig, de Gin-Tonic vooral tonic. Lunch was te duur en van matige kwaliteit (knap als je een appel pannenkoek weet te verprutsen). Veel wespen op het terras. Enig pluspunt was de omgeving.

Na een leuke wandeling in de omgeving even op het terras van Herberg de Klomp neergestreken. Er staat een kraam waar je drankjes bij de vriendelijke bediening kunt bestellen en afrekenen. Handig concept omdat je zo meteen weg kan lopen als je drankjes op zijn zonder te hoeven wachten op bediening. Wat mij betreft mag het zo op meer plekken. Goede wijn en heerlijke bitterballen. Geen plek om mensen te kijken maar wel fijne stop tijdens wandeling of fietstocht.

Uitstekend verblijf! De rust is heel prettig. Gelukkig geen (harde) muziek. Goede, ontspannen persoonlijke service. Geweldig 5 gangen menu met heerlijke Italiaanse witte wijn! Mooie kamer met uitzicht. Alles uitstekend verzorgd, ook het ontbijt. Mooie omgeving.

The hotel is located in the Vechtdal and excellent for hiking and cycling. It offers touristic information. It also offers a local experience as it uses regional products for the restaurant and breakfast. Both serve their food in a special manner and make the experience special. The team is enthusiastic and the young owners make you feel comfortable and at home. The hotel has some recently renovated rooms, though we were given one that still needed to be done and lacked a bit of decoration. The hotel itself offers opportunity for local artist to show paintings and ceramics (which can also be bought). That gives it an additional element. We cannot wait to return when after the winter the last rooms will have been modernized.

Nice cozy charming hotel in a beautiful nature reserve. Cozy terrace. Everything here is accompanied by a smile. The staff is the secret of success. We had a 3-day cycling package including overnight stay, very extensive and great breakfast and 1 x 3 course menu and 1 x 4 course menu. You let the chef surprise you and you won't regret it. Food of excellent quality and very tasty. The standard rooms are a bit dated but spacious and clean. But oh well, the smile of the staff and the stellar care make up for everything!

We stayed in inn de Klomp and were kindly welcomed with a welcome drink on the pleasant terrace. The room was upstairs. carpet in the hallway. Room with a dormer window. No air conditioning, so warm. A fan in the closet. Beds are fine. Small sitting area with table. The room is more or less renovated. The painter was clearly not a professional, very sloppy. Bathroom with shower cabin, sink and toilet. Slippery tiles, especially in the shower and no handle. Window open at night, insect screen present. Some noise from the nearby road. Breakfast is fine and served on a long board on the table. 6 sandwiches of which 2 croissant and 4 small brown rolls, cheese, meats, boiled egg, fruit, yogurt, orange juice. Grab your own coffee and tea. Dinner is the chef's menu, wait and see what you get. In our case tuna and veal loin. Beautifully prepared and delicious in taste. Compliment. Three-course menu € 39 per person + cost of wine etc. Lost 110 Euro together, not cheap but certainly worth it. In short: a nice place, lovely terrace. In terms of room, I would try the more luxurious / more expensive version.
