Hotels near Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Vilnius

The Ibis Centrum is located approximately 12 minutes walk from the old town over the river into the new quarter. It is on the opposite side of the city to the train and bus station. My advice would be either to get a cab (25 euros!!), Uber or bus to the hotel. The airport bus also has a stop close by. Check-in was quick, friendly and professional. My mobility assist room was located on the 4th floor. Their are two lifts and both were working. The room was large, light, modern and airy with standard ibis decor and fittings. A flat screen tv, hanging space, writing desk and air con, the double bed (2 x singles together) was extremely firm - too firm for me personally but others might prefer a hard bed. The shower room was extremely large and spotless clean. My only wish is that ibis provide a shelf in the shower area to put your shower paraphernalia on. Not easy having to constantly bend to the floor to pick up shampoo etc. On the ground floor of the hotel next to reception is a lounge area, children’s play area, bar and breakfast room (ibis kitchen). Breakfast is the standard ibis Fayre of hot and cold food. The croissants were particularly large and very good! I did use the ibis kitchen for a casual dinner. The pasta dish was fine. I would have liked more choice though. Note that the hotel does have an underground car park, and accepts well behaved dogs (supplement). Despite the poor wet weather? I enjoyed my stay at the ibis centrum. On a final note their was one particular member of staff I would like to commend. A blonde haired lady (sorry I did not get her name) who worked the ibis kitchen and bar was extremely helpful towards me. She offered to carry my breakfast tray (I use a walking stick) , and when ordering drinks (pot of tea for 2 euros is a bargain) she brought them personally to my table. She is a credit to the hotel. For travelers by car, the hotel is very conveniently located on Gelezineo Vilko gv. On this street (three lanes in each direction), locals rush so that it is not easy to drive into it from the hotel. Stoyana is free at the hotel. We just drove up and left the car where there was a place. Sometimes there are no free places, sometimes there are. The room was ”standard” for two. Everything is clean. Entrance door on the cards. The windows overlooked the courtyard. The silence is absolute at night. In combination with a gorgeous, in our opinion, bed and pleasant linens, we slept for two nights as if they were killed. Due to the silence, one night, the opening of the central air conditioner was a little noisy, even though it was turned off. The room has: TV, table, one chair for two, two glass glasses, a minibar for the money. The hotel does not provide either a classic bar of soap or shampoo. In the shower, not a single shelf to shave, you need to put a razor and stuff just on the floor. Towels are enough. It seemed a bit distant to the city center on the map, but in fact it was normal walking, we walked several times. Breakfast in the restaurant is normal, no frills. There are two types of juice, decent coffee. At the reception, the young man does not speak Russian, and the girl, yes. In general, everything is decent.

The beautiful hotel is located in the old town of Vilnius. It is quite new, accordingly the equipment is very good. My single room was a little small, but it is enough for a person and for a night in the city. The bed was comfortable, but unfortunately there was no refrigerator. The check-in was very professional and efficient. The hotel has a contract with a parking area nearby, it is about 600m walk from the hotel. For only 8 euros you can park your vehicle there (as agreed with the reception). The breakfast was in order but still extensive, for example, it lacked normal milk. There was only lactose-free milk that even tasted acid. All in all, it is a nice hotel and I recommend it to everyone for a stay in Vilnius.

ABSOLUTLY NOT RECOMMENDED! WE BOOKED 2 DOUBLE ROOMS IN SEPTEMBER 2022 FOR A RAMMSTEIN CONCERT. AT THIS POINT THEY HAD A LOT OF ROOMS FREE AND OFFERED IT IN ***********. IN MAI 2023 (7 month later!) THEY CANCELED OUR ROOMS (2 DOUBLE ROOMS) WITH THE CASE ”SORRY - OUR HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED”. BUT THE REAL AND TRUE CASE WAS, THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS TO OTHER GUESTS CAUSE OF RARLY AVAILABLE ROOMS IN MAY 2023/VILNIUS. WE ORGINALLY PAID 599 EURO FOR ONE WEEK TOTAL FOR BOTH DOUBLE ROOMS IN SEPTEMBER 2022. IN MAI 2023 THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS FOR OVER AROUND 2000 EURO+ PER WEEK (EACH ROOM!). FROM THE BUSINESS POINT OF VIEW ITS SURLY WISE BUT ITS REALLY REALLY UNFAIR TO THE GUESTS TO F*CK THEIR LONG PLANNED HOLIDAYS IN THE LAST MOMENT BEFOR THE TRAVEL BEGINS. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO FIND ANOTHER PAYABLE HOTEL IN VILNIUS SO WE HAD TO CHOOSE SOMETHING 30KM OUTSIDE OF VILNIUS CITY. WE HAD TO USE BOLT/UBER TAXIS EVERY DAY AND WE HAD ALOT OF EXTRA COSTS CAUSE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS HOTEL. WE ARE VERY VERY DISAPOINTED AND I WILL POST THIS STORY WHEREVER I CAN! UNBELIEVABLE!

The hotel is a short walk from the old town. The street it is on is quiet and I felt safe walking there, even at night. After 8pm there are no staff on site but there is a keypad with code for security at the door. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly. Rooms are bit dated but extremely clean and had everything I needed, including a fridge and hairdryer in the room. For the price it is extremely good value. Unfortunately I didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel but it smelt very good and was included in the room rate. I would definitely stay here again as it was a good budget friendly option.

One of the best hotels that we stayed during our 2 weeks Europe tour We were here for 3 nights. 1) Receptionist was excellent. Ever smiling and helpful, she was understanding and cooperative. Our room had an AC problem- she immediately provided an alternative room. 2) Location- Great location just on the fringes of the old town. The walking distance to the Town hall was 5 minutes. 3) Comfort- Room was quite good size with all amenities except heating iron. Room was spanking new and very clean. Only one drinking water bottle was provided on the first night, it wasn’t replenished. Bedding was very comfortable. 4) We did not opt for the breakfast. We did not have any meals at the hotel. Room had Tea/ coffee making facility and provisions for tea and coffee. 5) Rooms and towels were cleaned only if requested by guests (by placing sign on door) 6) We had a wonderful time in Vilnius and our stay at Conti hotel was superb.

I'm delighted to share my experience at Hotel Park Inn by Radisson Vilnius. The location was perfect, the room was spacious and comfortable, the staff service was exceptional, the cleanliness was spotless, and the amenities were great. This is a very nice hotel. The reception staff are extremely helpful (thanks!), my room was very nice, comfortable mattress (and I’m fussy), excellent breakfast, including non-dairy items (thanks again!). The hotel is a short walk to the bus station, or two blocks from a bus 3g bus stop going to the airport (short ride). The hotel is not right in Old Town, but is a very short walk, which for me seemed perfect. Finally, the lobby furniture is really nice, much better than the usual.

Advantages: good service, very good rooms, not as bad as the booking reviews, breakfast can be eaten, the price is very good. Disadvantages: The location is relatively remote, a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest bus station. There are many tourist groups, and a local company group was built for two days staying, making breakfast very crowded and crowded

We were on the 5th floor with great vistas of the city. Our room was warm and comfy and we enjoyed 2 nights there. We ate one evening in the restaurant and the food was very nice but it was a bit pricey so definitely cheaper to eat in town. It was very handy for breakfasts just being situated across from a world famous fast food outlet where we went each morning. The hotel was well situated for walking trips into the city which we did each day.
