The Dune Eco Village and Spa - Pondicherry

Spent 2 very enjoyable days at Dune Eco Village ECR with family. It is a great place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The service and hospitality was exceptional. All the meals were very well prepared and delicious.

Good. Nothing specific to improve. Everyone in the dune was maintained very good hospitality. Private beach outdoor swimming pool indoor swimming pool everything was good. Can go with family or friends. We can enjoy this dune resorts...

We stayed there for 2 nights...very good service.....very greeny environment which makes us feel fresh ....food served there tasted yummy...beach was also easily accessible...Buggy shuttle service is available 24/7 .Spa there was really relaxing and would suggest everyone to visit .

The property is exceptionally hygienic and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment. The service is prompt, ensuring that all requests are handled efficiently. The staff members are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. I am definitely planning to visit again, this time with my family, to share the wonderful experience with them.

We spent a couple of days at Dune Eco Village, and as always, the stay was comfortable, and the property was in excellent condition. I would love to return many more times. However, there were a couple of unusual experiences that I feel are worth bringing to the attention of the concerned team. First, Mr. Umapathi, who I presume leads the team, exhibited some actions that felt somewhat forced and unnatural—such as singing and attempting to engage in conversation. While hospitality and engagement are appreciated, these interactions felt a bit overdone rather than organic. Second, during checkout, I received a call from the lobby at 11 AM as a reminder. I requested 10 more minutes, assuming it was a standard notification. Exactly 10 minutes later, someone knocked on the door to check if we were ready to leave. When I said not yet, another person arrived shortly after with the same question. This repeated follow-up felt frustrating and intrusive, especially at a luxury resort. When I asked those at the door who had sent them, they informed me it was Mr. Umapathi. If there was a strict checkout deadline due to room preparation for the next guests, I should have been informed in advance so I could plan accordingly. However, I am quite certain that no one was scheduled to take the penthouse immediately after our departure as it was checkout on weekdays

The resort is just beautiful and the feeling of a small village with all the seperate bungalows spread widely across the property. Great kitchen and attentive staff basically with food available all day. Remarkable mix of Indian and continental. Fresh cooked eggs and dhosas in the morning. Overall cannot recommend this hotel enough. Although just 30 minutes by tuktuk from the center of Pudicherry it feels a world away. Spa is excellent as well and had 2 massage sessions which were great.
