I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights from Aug-9 of 2024. The hotel has good landscaping and the colors are vibrant. The staff is very helpful and is always there with a smile. Food was average. However there are lot of teething problems and everytime the answer is "we are new", kindly adjust 1) No breakfast buffet on Day1 since there were not enough people in hotel, so you have to ask and they will prepare. the utensils were all organized as if there is a buffet in place, no signage to tell otherwise. 2) No cleaning of room, unless you ask for it ( I was told this by the manager or someone at front desk) 3) There is NO Phone in the room to call reception, use your own mobile. 4) No change of towels, no one to make your bed unless you ask for it 5) Room has hot kettle but no tea/coffee/sugar sachets. The tray is there. 6) The cupboard in room (at least in my room with twin beds) is so small that even a cabin baggage didn't fit properly 7) No regular cleaning of the corridor for left over food; one tray from my next room was lying for 2 days 8) The walk to the beach is littered with garbage and is not safe to walk ...thru shrubs , broken bottles (outside the property boundary) 9) There is hardly any visible signage of the hotel from main road, totally dependent on Google maps, very narrow roads 10) There is no concept of "DO NOT Disturb" or "Clean my Room" signage 11) Food menu is printed on a sheet of paper and very limited items 12) I was charged for food without any bill & didn't even get my signature. When I saw it on my bill, staff was like ..I can tell you what all you ate . 13) From the morning of checkout, I was asked by staff "Sir, checkout hai aaj, pls. share good feedback, my name is so & so"...even when I was eating breakfast . 14) No bell boy concept ..I brought my own luggage down from 1st floor 15) As per the name, there should be a SPA; no such facility (was told, we are new) 16) The day I was checking out there were lot of people for the breakfast buffet (I am guessing, occupancy was at 80%), there were many standing or eating from a small table...not sure if they can accommodate if they are at full capacity Seems like there are too many teething issues for a hotel who have started service 8 months back (confirmed by staff). All are concerned with only good ratings rather than good service. While intent might be good, staff lacks etiquettes & mannerisms of running a hotel. When I am paying so much, I expect service at that level, not a home like service. I even saw vegetables kept near the entrance of the hotel. At best a star rated guest house rather than a hotel
