It is different to get a parking place in the hotel and we need to park the car on street near the hotel. Breakfast is good, but it is hard to find a place in rush hour although there some places free for reservations. It is thus beter to reserve before. In this case the service can be provided.

At reception, it took 20 minutes to manually record other information, such as home and business addresses, after I handed over my ID card. Perhaps if the employee didn't have such long artificial nails and a bit more common sense, things would have been much better.
The internet in the restaurant was down, which made everything even more complicated.
Sorry, but I wanted to stay at the Oeschberhof, and since a private event had shut down the entire hotel, I was recommended this alternative.
Anyway, once and never again.

We attended the hockey game nearby and it was an easy walk. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The restaurant was excellent.

Stayed 1 night at Sombea on the way to Switzerland and thought it was excellent. The restaurant and bar on property was great for dinner, drinks, and breakfast the following morning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was in great condition. The only knock was that the air conditioning system was not working and although it wasn't hot, it was a bit muggy because of the rain we had that night. Still slept soundly but we could have been a bit more comfortable. By the time we discovered that it wasn't working, it was too late at night and there was no one to fix it. One excellent feature of the hotel was the on-property cigar lounge, although during our 1-night stay it was full of cigarette smokers. I would still highly recommend this hotel as a stopover on the way to somewhere else.
