The location is great (if you have a car), and the staff is extremely friendly. Even if you check in at midnight, the staff is willing to help. The room is spacious, clean, and bright. The breakfast is tasty. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay experience.

Good location to stay one night while driving around Black Forest towns. About 25 minutes or so from Triberg and 5 minutes from Villingen, another Black Forest town with a beautiful cathedral and a Franciscan monastery. We booked a rate with breakfast included and parking. Rooms are nice, there are usb outlets there which are useful if you are from another country. The restaurant is closed for dinner on weekends but they can serve pizzas and flag breads. That worked out for us with kids, as we didn’t want to drive anywhere for dinner.

The hotel was nice and the room was nice too, always happy to find a kettle to make a cuppa. It seemed the only language spoken was German, but we could get by in German, luckily. The day staff were always correct, but one evening after parking the car and asking the man at reception to validate our ticket, he was most put out, it was too much work for him, and there was no smile or friendliness, really not the right person to work at reception!! The cleaners were lovely, and did a great job in the room everyday, everything was as it should be. The breakfast was very good, a good selection, but I did wonder why the tea was hidden away around the corner away from everything else. I hadn't seen it and had to ask where it was.

Excellent customer service Tanya from front desk helped me with multiple request. The restaurant meals were delicious. Room was very large, new and comfortable. Only 20 minutes from Black Forest and quick 10 minute drive to village main plaza. Highly recommend.

Staff gets A+ for service. Janice at reception was so helpful with every request. Food here is excellent. Recommend the Caesar Salad. Room is large, brand new and clean. Bar open 24/7. Good location of you want to explore Black Forest. Definitely recommend.

Spacious and very well equipped rooms. Very pleasant staff. Varied breakfast. Classic restaurant for this type of hotel. Possibility of seminars in large rooms. Few free parking spaces in front of the hotel but paid parking all around with a special rate for the hotel (ticket to be presented at reception).

Beautiful hotel, spacious clean rooms, easy to reach, and modern interior. The restaurant was excellent. You can clearly taste and see that there is a good creative chef in the kitchen. The veal roll filled with a spinach cream and rösti slices with a tomato sauce tasted excellent. All dishes were very nicely presented. On football night the lady behind the bar worked very hard to serve everyone quickly. She deserves a big compliment. Breakfast was also fine, with a wide selection of food. for us this hotel was a must!

We spent 2 nights in this establishment, those of March 20 and 21. Access, geographical location, comfort of room 351, almost perfect equipment (among other things, the kettle was missing!), overall cleanliness are indisputable elements. The parking space outside is €6.50. We had dinner twice. Local cuisine; Dessert is a little expensive: €8.90.

Stayed here on the way back from Italy. Very nice hotel with basically the facilities you need. It is just a shame that the hotel loses points which means we would never come back. The staff (except the lady at check-in) was very unfriendly and had no hospitality appearance. The room was not clean; there were still chips crumbs on the floor from the previous guest and the windows were very dirty. The bed was very bad. Tip for the hotel: turning the mattresses periodically would be a good solution. Breakfast on the other hand was good! Everything you need for breakfast and also fresh. Too bad that there is no time for departing guests during check-out, because then I would have liked to explain the above. €153,- for 2 people including breakfast is really too much for this hotel. Very unfortunate!
