1722 Chambres de Charme

This was a true gem of a find. The accommodation is difficult to find. Don’t rely upon the Google maps entry because this will take you to an AirB&B run by the same owners that is only a short distance away by foot, but a long way away by road due to the one way system. The hotel is in a building full of character located in a quiet area behind the church. There are great views over the mountains towards the sea. The rooms are on the ground floor and first floor and are extremely comfortable with lots of nice touches - plenty of wood and period features. There is parking available on the road nearby. Breakfast is taken either in the garden or on a terrace on the top floor. You can eat a 3 course dinner at the hotel, no choice, but the food was excellent on both nights, and the price, including wine was extremely reasonable. There is an enormous jacuzzi/swim spa at the property that is great fun! There are only a few rooms so it is never busy and the owner is always about and attentive with a constant cheerful smile. We would be very happy to return!
