Simple, but very clean room, with working air conditioner that kept the room wonderfully cool. Good choice for our one night stay near the desert. Private bath with hot water (quick shower is easy enough and much appreciated), big king bed, large room. We had a nice dinner and breakfast served by very nice staff.

It was the cheapest option for a reason
It's a dorm style hostel and only as clean as the policies and the guests. The dorm is central to the property so there is no direct light or access to fresh air. The room is not air conditoned so it smells awful and there are just fans to keep you cool, but it mostly jist circulates the smell. In the heat of the desert with 9 guys who are not showering regularly, the smell can be quite overwhelming. No lock boxes in the rooms, good luck with that. No ladders to top bunks, just climb on the frame, good luck with that. A handful of power outlet strips in the room, none next to a bed or secured area, good luck not having your electronics stolen. Shared bathroom for 10 is rough, i didn't see a ladies dorm, but the trashcan for the ladies was overflowing from the time i arrived, to the time i left.

An average hostel
This is just a typical hostel - its winning feature is a small pool. Unfortunately my room was connected to the common area so was extremely noisy. There was no hot water - be warned - it does warm in the sun but is still below body temperature so you end up with the shivers

Excellent little hostel. We had a double room, private bathroom & A/C plus fridge in the room & shared swimming pool for under £25 with breakfast included. Very clean & great location for town centre & on towards the desert. There was also a large dorm room with 5 sets of bunk beds that was full of young people but all were quiet with no noise. Definitely recommend if wanting to explore the local area

Exelente atencion, tranquilidad, comida y salidas turisticas a los sitios aledaños al desierto de la tatacoa (paseo en lancha, caminata, visita al observatorio, piscina, etc). Recomendadisimo para todos.

Las habitaciones son amplias y muy comodas, con aire acondicionado y baño privado muy aseado. Además la piscina es un plus, llegar después de los tours (los cuales ellos mismos te recomiendan en el desierto y río con muy buenos guías) a bañarse y refrescarse en ella es lo máximo. Sin duda recomendadisimo!!
