On remote Bald Head Island, our villa is in the perfect location. In one direction it's a 2-minute stroll to the beach, and in the other direction, it is a 1-minute walk to Bald Head Island Club with access to golf, tennis, fitness center, croquet, pool, water park and slide tower, playground, volleyball, fine and casual dining. A temporary full membership including golf privileges is available with your rental for an additional fee. You can walk to the several Club restaurants, tennis, pool and water play, playground, fitness center, and even croquet! Our villa also offers the option of a Shoals Club membership with an additional fee. The Shoals Club provides direct beach access, 4 additional dining and fitness options, and pool access.Life on the island offers the opportunity for exquisite sunrises and spectacular sunsets, all accessible from our villa. Combine the island’s natural beauty with multiple opportunities to enjoy the turtles, osprey, heron, egret, cranes, lizards, dolphins and ibis will have you in awe of the spectacular natural beauty of this magnificent place. In the evenings, from either the main or upper deck, the crystal clear, un-obscured Bald Head Island sky creates opportunities for moon and stargazing and general reflection of your day’s adventures. After a long day in the sand and surf, splashing in or lounging by the pool, and touring the island in the two well-maintained golf carts or by bicycle, look forward to coming home to prepare dinner on the new gas grill or in the fully equipped and renovated kitchen. With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, it’s perfect for your family getaway.The living area is designed for comfort, features a queen-size sleeper sofa, two plush recliners, a fresh color palette, and a 65” Smart TV. The updated kitchen, complete with granite countertops and quality appliances, is fully stocked for home-cooked meals.The master bedroom has a king-size bed, private bathroom with walk-in shower, and a 55” Smart TV. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, connecting bathroom, and a 55” Smart TV. The loft bedroom also has a queen bed, a private bath, and its own balcony with sunset views.Villa 40 is ideal for outdoor fun. Enjoy the grill, relax in Adirondack chairs, or take a nap on the swinging bed under the deck.Two golf carts, a four-seater and a six-seater (with rain enclosures), are provided for island transportation. With its open floor plan, BHI Villa 45 showcases panoramic ocean views from the family/dining room/master areas. The living area is comfortably outfitted with comfortable furniture, a fresh color palette and a large Smart TV.The gourmet kitchen has recently been updated with granite counter tops and features quality appliances. Stocked with everything you need, you will be able to make large family meals in this space. The master bedroom has an amazing ocean view and features a king bed with custom headboard, built-in shelves, and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom features a queen size bed along with a connecting bathroom with shower. The loft bedroom offers queen, plus a twin bed and boasts expansive views from the adjacent balcony. A half bath is attached.All bedrooms have Smart TVs.Our villa is well-situated in the complex with a large lawn both in front of the villa and to the side of the place providing lots of space to play and enjoy a gathering around the outdoor grill. If the sun gets too bright, unwind under the deck on the Adirondack chairs or on the hammock.Two golf carts come with the rental - a 4-seater and a brand new 6-seater (purchased 2025).Linens, towels (one set/person) and beach towels are provided.A high chair and pack n' play are also provided.Membership to the Bald Head Island Club is available via separate purchase with your rental. Beautiful South Beach is a 5 minute walk and is wide and calm. We loved being right next to the BHI club and really enjoyed strolling over for a delicious dinner one evening. The Villa was really cute, clean and fresh, comfortable and well stocked. We had some great morning bike rides with the the cruisers included with the Villa. The sunset from the deck cannot be beat.
