A stay at La Bobadilla is the best thing you can do for your mental health! A beautiful, almost monastery-like hotel, with marvelous architecture, fantastic service, a beautiful and calm outdoor pool area, and really talented employees - especially at the spa. If you can book a massage with the massage therapist Pablo, do it! I feel like a new person after this memorable stay.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage und wundervoller Landschaft.Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig inmitten von Natur und Olivenbäumen.Das Frühstück war sehr gut.Es lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles war frisch und appetitlich, eines des besten Frühstücksbuffets die wie auf unseren Reisen erlebt haben. Die Poollandschaft war weitläfig ,sehr gepflegt und perfekt zur Erholung

Wonderful resort which deserves the name of being a Royal Hideaway Hotel. Great and very friendly staff attending to one in every detail. Wonderful culinair experience, specially the breakfast and the Finca one Michelin Star restaurant. Lots to do in and around the resort.

My wife and I stayed at La Bobadilla for 6 nights (4th to 9th Sep) and treated my son and his new wife to join us for a honeymoon vacation (4th to 8th Sep). During this period the hotel grounds including the entire pool area and outdoor eating spaces were plagued by wasps. As a result, what was meant to be a relaxing week turned into a nightmare particularly for my son and his wife. On one occasion they even had to call members of staff to have a hornet removed from their room after which they kept the doors to their patio closed for the rest of the stay. On a number of occasions, we were made aware that the area around the hotel was suffering the same increase of wasp infestation and despite professional services to remove them from the hotel grounds they were not being very successful. Apparently, and more disconcerting, we were informed that this is an annual problem only this year was particularly bad since there had been little rain in the area. The hotel is magnificent and the staff polite and extremely helpful and were it not for the wasps this would have been a delightful stay. However, we spent a lot of money and had we been informed prior to our stay that there was such a problem we could have made alternative arrangements. Clearly, from a commercial perspective, that is not what the hotel would have wanted but surely that would have been the right thing to have done?
