The room was not ready at 4pm for check in . The hotel is not well maintained and the lobby and breakfast area are dirty. The bedroom was very Daryl and old , had dust by the bed and the bathroom was very grubby. I stayed at many Elements all over the USA and recently (BWI in Baltimore and Summerlin Las Vegas and the happy hours drinks and a cheese board are limited but free) You are gouging your customers by charging and advertising Happy Hour on a seen better day hidden at the front of the main entrance of your hotel . Shame on you ! The breakfast dining room was dirty and the food disgusting. The Chobani yogurt bar was a disgrace and filthy with no one looking after it . It was a mess . Yogurts and food particles all over the place . Very poor hygiene and sanitation practices. As a platinum member you gave us a dinghy room looking at the wall from the storage unit building next to the parking lot ! Horrible. The employees at your hotel are not engaged and we did not feel welcomed. Your property is one of the worst Element hotel I have ever stayed. I will never stay or recommend your hotel to anyone.

For a budget hotel - this would get 4 stars! The rooms were super clean and spacious (we had a king room with a view - room 204). The view was so incredible. To wake up with the beautiful red rock mountains was spectacular. Having updated outlets with USB ports was a treat. Hot tub was hot and clean. Staff were helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel. Only a 6 mile drive to Sedona and plenty of wonderful casual dining most within walking distance.
