Red Agave Resort

Our 3 Sisters Trip was perfect at Red Agave! From checkin to checkout, it was flawless! Employees are friendly and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and the views were stunning!!! We loved the private outdoor seating just steps from our room. The hot tubs and pool were immaculate and the temperatures were perfect. The outdoor fire pit was lit up at night and many vacationers had time to share stories and experiences. I almost hesitate to review because I want it to be a secret! Lol!

Guys, this is a FANTASTIC place. The setting is to die for as it’s a bit out from the center of the town and so free of traffic and crowds. The views are unreal with spectacular rock formations, including Bell Rock, showing off right there in the backyard. They have trails behind the property that are perfect for hiking and mountain biking. They also have an excellent pool and a nice evening fire pit where you can chat with other guests over wine and smores about how great it is to be at the Red Agave. But the people who operate the hotel may be the best thing about the property. We had a tricky reservation issue that was our fault and Trish and the team at the resort were nevertheless incredibly helpful and kind in helping us rectify the problem. Just so nice. That kindness fits with the happiness vibe you’ll enjoy in the midst of all the natural beauty at this relaxed location. Don’t go anywhere else!!

We loved Red Agave for it's location (you can go into the biking/hiking trails right from the resort), amazing views, pool/hot tubs, and very friendly staff! The A-frame cottage rooms are very fun and a great set up for a family with slightly older children. All the amenities were there for us and we wish we could have stayed longer. Access to the trails is right on property. And the views can't be beat.

Excellent location, responsive and friendly staff, well appointed studio room with nicely stocked kitchenette on clean, groomed and welcoming grounds. Pool was heated--warm enough to swim in February and I loved it! Hot tubs clean and roomy. Easy access to the trail head and the view from my room, the fire pit, the pool was just stunning--every single day. Sedona in February was a win--not too crowded and certainly quieter than high months with mild beautiful weather. Great value, too.

We stayed one night while exploring Sedona. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms, very spacious, comfortable,and fully stocked. Other family stayed in one of the loft chalet's, just as comfortable. We grilled out, used the pool, and were super impressed with the wi-fi speed! Spectacular views and hiking trail on the property, we will be back!

I know I always start with the making of the reservation and I am going to continue here . We booked online , sometimes I do call -laces but my wife booked this one . It was super easy to do and we were excited about this one . When we arrived we were greeted by the night time manager , I believe , she was cordial and walked people to their room or chalet (for lack of a better word ). She went thru the usual talk but was super friendly and when I asked about dinner spots , she named one 9n each food category lol. We went with Colts BBQ, which I’ll discuss separately in a different review . They do a bonfire weather permitting , we actually drove from Holbrook, az and went to Petrified Forest . A snow covered one at that but it was melting quick . But back to the resort , they offer build your own s’mores kit at the front desk with sticks to use and the pool is heated . Our A frame chalet was wonderful with an upstairs the kids could’ve slept in , years ago . The place was spacious with its own full kitchen . We arrived at dark so we had to wait for the view . As the sun came up , the view blew us away , the red rocks were everywhere and they had hiking trails all around and it warmed up nice . I went out on the trails and had to get to the top of some of the closer rock formations. Trails are easy to walk and climb. The place has a laundry facility which we utilized and after a hike we sat in a little patio area near the pool and watched birds gather at the fountain . Checkout was easy and we were sad to leave , but the daytime person was just as friendly as the nighttime. .
