Red Agave Resort

The Red Agave is a small boutique resort in the Village of Oak Creek. It’s much quieter than over in Sedona. The view from the grounds is spectacular. We stayed in the Echo Canyon cabin and the location was central to the entrance and pool. There was a king bed downstairs and a queen and a twin upstairs. We were a group of friends and there was room for everyone. We didn’t cook there but we did reheat leftovers. The little kitchen has everything you need. Others used the bbqs onsite. The pool is lovely and there’s a hot tub. The have nightly fires in the fire pit with smores available. There are hiking trails that leave from the hotel which is very convenient. This is a hidden gem. I would definitely stay here again.

Our 3 Sisters Trip was perfect at Red Agave! From checkin to checkout, it was flawless! Employees are friendly and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and the views were stunning!!! We loved the private outdoor seating just steps from our room. The hot tubs and pool were immaculate and the temperatures were perfect. The outdoor fire pit was lit up at night and many vacationers had time to share stories and experiences. I almost hesitate to review because I want it to be a secret! Lol!

Guys, this is a FANTASTIC place. The setting is to die for as it’s a bit out from the center of the town and so free of traffic and crowds. The views are unreal with spectacular rock formations, including Bell Rock, showing off right there in the backyard. They have trails behind the property that are perfect for hiking and mountain biking. They also have an excellent pool and a nice evening fire pit where you can chat with other guests over wine and smores about how great it is to be at the Red Agave. But the people who operate the hotel may be the best thing about the property. We had a tricky reservation issue that was our fault and Trish and the team at the resort were nevertheless incredibly helpful and kind in helping us rectify the problem. Just so nice. That kindness fits with the happiness vibe you’ll enjoy in the midst of all the natural beauty at this relaxed location. Don’t go anywhere else!!

I’ve been to the area a number of times and have spent quite a bit of time in Sedona, Rock Climbing, so when I had the pleasure to attend my dear friends wedding at Red Agave I knew I’d have a great time. The Wedding went smoothly, the coordinator Chelsea was super. She attended to my friends needs with a smile. The accommodations were very nice, clean and the staff was wonderful. But where Chelsea really showed her skills was how she thoroughly enjoyed using her charm and personality, dancing along with the guests and making sure everyone was having fun. We danced together, and found we had a connection. We spent a considerable amount of time together, we sat in my truck for a bit before going back to my room. She really opened up, talked about her time in North Carolina, her failed marriage, her music likes (Country, Selena), her love of hiking, UTV on Mingus Mtn, working out (which was apparent by her figure), kayaking, the loss of her grandfather, and a serious criminal conviction that could ruin her life if she's not careful. She said her son is the best thing in her life and is what makes her most proud. She said she enjoys watching dance videos, singing, and eventually she "performed" for me, she has a number of sexy tattoos, from her shoulder to her ankle and in between, a cute little mole on her temple. I showed her my tattoos as well. We had a GREAT ;) time, her wedding planning skills and dance moves may show off her public skills, but she has great PRIVATE skills as well.

Just perfect

We loved this place SO much! The cabin was so comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for us all to hang out. There were thoughtful touches throughout. We loved, loved, loved the hot tub and fire pit with s'mores. And the views and being able to start our hikes right outside the cabin- perfection. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.
