Lodge of Four Seasons Golf Resort, Marina & Spa

Where do I start , it is a very old and run down property that still charges a resort fee and is at best a one star hotel. The pool area is nasty and the bushes haven’t been trimmed in years. The rooms are very outdated and they don’t clean the rooms daily. Do your self a favor and stay at a motel 6 as it is better.

The main lodge rooms are old furniture, toilets slow or difficult to flush, hot water in shower extremely slow to turn hot. Not enough towels, or hangers in closet. No where to hang a towel in the bathroom except shower rod. $300/NITE , no breakfast of any kind included. Restaurants very expensive. Bar in lobby never open day or nite. Better to stay at hilton or Homewood suites.

Came for our annual family vacation during the 4th of July . 3 rooms,3 nights Front .desk clerk Katie seen to it that everyone recived the correct rooms and in short order offered information without me asking any questions, she knows her stuff! Later at HK’s we were seated and attended to by Brady, he’s very friendly and took good care of us.. HK’s is a must do while staying at the lodge , fabulous..last but not least , Candy at the lobby coffee shop is awesome..EVERYONE done a hell of a job during this busy holiday.. the bartender at Hk’s remembered me from prior visits but I can’t remember her name, makes a fantastic old fashioned !! Hats off to Robin Graff and the lofs team.. as always WOW, just WOW, see you soon!

I normally don’t write these things but felt compelled to while we are actively staying here. This place was probably top notch…back in the late 80’s early 90’s. But it is clear that in 2025, this place has seen much better days. The rooms are dated. They need renovations in the worst way. The key cards hardly work and use older card mechanisms. We had to get our cards re-keyed multiple times. We were told “don’t set the cards next to your phone, AirPods, etc. it screws the cards up.” Hardly a reasonable request in this day and age, but we are managing. Our room only has 2 working outlets. The mini fridge isn’t cooling our bottles of water. The bathroom looks and feels old, worn, and cheap with cracked tile and just a single soap tray in the tub, no shelves or racks or mounted dispensers of shampoo. Also found a used bar of soap in the tray, so that was nice. The carpet in the room is dirty and loose in areas. It smells of mildew everywhere. The carpet is also different heights in the room than in the hallway and the height of the carpet actively prevent the doors from automatically closing. The lobby is a nice, welcoming space. The outdoor areas are great. Pools, the overlook of the lake, manicured lawns and gardens, etc are all wonderful. If as much attention was paid to the interior of the building as was clearly paid to the exterior, this review would look and feel much different. This hotel is charging 4 star prices but to anyone thinking this is a 4 star resort or even close to it, think again. Save yourself some $ and go to a different place for your stay near the lake. You’ll have a better stay.

I want to sincerely commend the team at Lodge of the Four Seasons for their exceptional customer service during my recent stay. When I encountered a few unexpected issues, the staff handled everything with professionalism, compassion, and a true commitment to guest satisfaction. The manager, in particular, was incredibly helpful, and the front desk team was equally supportive and kind. Management responded quickly, offered a full refund without hesitation, and ensured that my concerns were taken seriously. They went above and beyond to make me feel safe and valued as a guest. I’m incredibly grateful for how the situation was handled and would absolutely consider staying again because of their dedication to excellent service.

The Lodge is a long-standing quality hotel at Lake of the Ozarks. The rooms have been modernized, probably several times. The setting is relaxing. The staff are welcoming and efficient. As a so-called senior citizen now, I noted that the hallway carpeting was not secured causing me to stumble a few times. Also, the hotel might consider grab bars for the tub/shower. The only disappointment was Buffy's Japanese garden, a unique feature of the hotel, was poorly maintained and overgrown.
