In plaats van onderweg te kiezen voor een typisch weghotel, kozen voor een vleugjeauthenticiteit. Dus leuke stopplaats in een ouder gebouw, waar de plafonds nog heel hoog zijn en de muren dik. Een aperitief onder de bomen is er zalig.

Die familiengeführte Posada befindet sich in der Ortschaft Villafranca, im Süden Navarras. Wir haben diese Unterkunft aufgrund der Nähe zum Geosphärenpark Bardenas Reales, ca. 25 min. Autofahrt entfernt, gewählt. Das Gebäude war ein ehemaliges Kapuzinerkloster, von einem netten Ehepaar geführt. Der Frühstücksbereich ist ansprechend eingerichtet, das Frühstück sehr gut. Abends wird ein Menü angeboten, das sehr gut war. Unser Zimmer im 1. Stock war sehr klein aber sehr ruhig und für die 3 Tage Aufenthalt ausreichend. Es gibt auch "bessere", größere Zimmer, die auf die Kirche nebenan blicken. Vielleicht bei der Buchung anmerken. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem Gelände, was praktisch ist. Der Ort Villafranca ist abgesehen von der Kathedrale nicht so interessant. Die geologischen Formationen der Bardenas Reales sind aber wirklich spektakulär. Folgende Orte und Klöster haben wir besucht und können empfehlen: Olite - Schloss des Königs von Navarra Ujué - sehr schöne Kirche La Oliva - Zisterzienserabtei Benediktinerkloster Leyre - etwas weiter entfernt, lohnt sich aber. Tudela - lebhafte Kleinstadt mit Kathedrale

We had another fantastic stay. The rooms are immaculately clean. The dinner and breakfast are reasonably priced and good. The owners make this very special as they are so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

L’endroit est magique, ce bâtiment austère très bien rénové n’a rien à envier aux 4* ! Grande chambre (206) bien spacieuse avec vue sur bâtiments patrimoniaux en face. Bien placé pour visiter la Navarre et les Bardenas, c’est un havre de paix. Très bon accueil et séjour chaleureux. Le dîner très bien cuisiné est servi dans une jolie salle qui donne sur la terrasse !

Située dans un petit village de la région de Navarre . Village sans trop d’intérêt . Allure externe très bien préservée , restauration respectant la vocation ancienne de l’édifice . Accueil chaleureux et personnalisé . Nous y avons séjourné 5 nuits . Belles petites chambres . Décor sombre mais élégant . Grande propreté des chambres . Le personnel y est courtois et surtout souriant . Les petits déjeuners sont simples mais complets. Mais parcontre , les repas du soir sont d’une très grande qualité , menu peut élaboré mais présentant de très belles spécialités locales présentées et assaisonnées avec beaucoup de goût et de classe . Les menus changent à tous les soirs . Bonne carte de vin. Un grand avantage l’hôtel est située à distance facile de plusieurs entrées donnant accès au désert de Bardenas . Ce désert est un must de la région , nous y avons passé 5 jours . Trop WoW .

Horrible. No entendemos la alta valoración. Habitaciones mediocres, suelo enmoquetado y muebles obsoletos y viejos. La estructura del lugar es precioso pero ya está, no le han sacado partido. Los desayunos y cenas de mala calidad, poco producto y malo. Hablan de la amabilidad de los dueños, no sé a que se refieren... La verdad que nos ha decepcionado una barbaridad.

No entiendo las puntuaciones tan altas
La estancia en este lugar deja mucho que desear. Me guié por las altas valoraciones y a los comentarios tan buenos de los demás huespedes. Después de haber pasado dos días aquí puedo decir que parece que nos hemos alojado en otro sitio totalmente diferente. Las habitaciones enmoquetadas con muebles del año Carolo... El desayuno de 8€ no lo es, un café malisimo y poca variedad de productos. Casi ni fruta había, unas naranjas y unos kiwis para comertelos el año que viene. Las cenas dejan mucho que desear. Nos comentaron que al ser fiestas los cocineros no estaban disponibles y solo estaban los ayudantes. Pero que pidas jamón con tomate y te saquen un sobre de jamón... sólo faltaba encontrarte con los plastiquitos que hay entre lonchas. La verdad que estamos decepcionados.
