The place has an unbeatable location centrally located in Villa de Leyva. The building itself is colonial and very eclectic in decor (a bit garish for me). The service is incredibly friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is on the weaker side and the overall experience was good.

No se obtiene a cambio el precio alto que se paga; por ese valor espero mucho mas. Habitaciones muy ruidosas, humedas y vetustas en las que no se descansa; servicio y aseo muy regulares. Habitaciones y espacios comunes sobre saturados con muebles sucios. Fuimos solo para dormir, pero eso no se logró por el exceso de ruido

La Posada San Antonio walks a fine line between rustic and charming and rundown and creepy. For my partner and I, it crosses over into the latter. I understand that Villa de Leyva is a historic town, but that’s no excuse for a bad motel bathroom at the price we paid.
We were also surprised by how noisy the room was, both from the street outside and from inside the hotel, making it hard to relax.
Finally, we went for a suite with a terrace, which was actually just a window with the tiniest of ledges. False advertising?
In the end, the hotel was more strange than horrible, but from the photos, reviews and price, we expected more.

The staff is fantastic! They are so helpful even though we didn’t know Spanish, they were making an effort to converse with us with a constant smile.

Charming hotel
Cozy hotel with lots of charm. The service was excellent, great place to relax. Quiet but close to the main plaza. They have parking available for free half a block away.
