Linda is a wonderful host. The villa we stayed in is well equipped and the staff is friendly. The kids loved the coconut drinks the staff made for us, the pool is lovely and refreshing. There are some power issues in the area, but they do have backup power to minimise any disruptions. The locals are very friendly, we felt welcome and safe. We were picked up at the airport, then went to Spar (which is modern, clean and very well stocked) to buy groceries and Linda took us to a smaller shop later during our stay to ensure we could stock up on anything we needed. We did a lovely trip to a nearby island with Sailaway, which Linda helped organise for us. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed family stay.

We had a delightful visit to Luke’s place! Linda was a lovely host and made our visit wonderful. She picked us up from the airport and was more than happy to schedule activities for us through her extensive network in vilankulos. She also was very dedicated to ensuring our safety during the recent political instability. The only had two minor issues during our stay. Due to very hot weather, the ac in the villa had trouble keeping up, so it was often quite warm at night. Additionally, there are some ants by the pack porch and pool that bite, so be mindful of them. That said, we’d recommend her villa and hospitality to anyone.

Mein Mann und ich verbringen unseren Urlaub in einem der beiden Bungalows von Luke's place. Der Bungalow hat eine tolle Lage mit Blick auf das Meer, in einem wunderschönen Garten mit Pool. Der Bungalow hat nur eine Glasfront am Eingangsbereich, die Fenster sind offen, jedoch alle mit Moskitonetzen geschützt. Zudem ist noch über dem Bett ein großes Moskitonetz angebracht. Es ist sehr sauber, die Küche für zwei Personen sehr gut ausgestattet mit Gasherd und Kühlschrank, sowie Kaffeepulver, Salz, Pfeffer. Linda und ihr freundliches Personal sorgen dafür, dass man sich wie Zuhause fühlt und geben Tipps, zu jeder Zeit Unterstützung. Sie hat für uns Touren bei vertrauenswürdigen Anbietern gebucht und ist überaus hilfsbereit. Hinter den Bungalows verläuft ein öffentlicher Weg, sobald Dunkelheit einkehrt scheint diesen jedoch kaum jemand zu nutzen. Es ist Nachts leise. Der große Gartenbereich kann genutzt werden, auf der Veranda lässt es sich schön sitzen.

My wife and I decided to stay at Luke's Place after reading some of the reviews on TripAdvisor, and we could not be happier about our choice. Linda and Luis were excellent hosts. Linda was very accommodating. She made the arrangements for the trips to the islands that we so much enjoyed and recommend, something not to be missed. The staff was equally very attentive and tended to all of our needs. Dito climbed up a coconut tree adjacent to our room and drop two coconuts of which we ate the soft pulp and drank the most refreshing water. The rooms have everything one needs and right on the beach. The nearest restaurant Baobab, is a pleasurable walk away via the beach, even when the tide is high. When time came to say goodbye, Linda drove us to the airport. We can only thank them all for a very pleasant stay.

È stato un soggiorno fantastico! Tutto era perfetto: lo chalet, il giardino, la piscina e la posizione fronte mare. Il letto comodissimo e la biancheria di qualità hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più confortevole. Infinite grazie a Linda che ha fatto diventare realtà un bellissimo sogno!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Lukes Place. It was so special, waking up in the morning and seeing the sea from my bed is something that I will never forget. Linda, Louie and everyone who worked there were so helpful and really made us feel welcome.

We hebben 4 nachten gelogeerd in een prachtige ‘cottage’ in Luke’s Place. We hadden direct uitzicht op het strand en we werden omringd door een prachtige tuin. Ons verblijf was in één woord fantastisch! We zijn heel warm ontvangen door de mevrouw des huizes Linda! Ze was geweldig! Ze was er elk moment van de dag voor ons. Niets was teveel. We geven Luke’s Place een 10!

Great comfortable well equipped chalet set in a beautiful tranquil garden with view of the sea. Linda and Louis the hosts were so helpful: meeting us at the airport, taking us to the supermarket, booking trips (and dropping us off/picking us up), ordering take away food etc. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had such a relaxing stay - thank you!
