I only have good things to say, the location is excellent close to the beach, the marina and toms of restaurants. It’s nestled away in the middle of beautiful gardens and pine trees. Away from the commotion but close enough to travel there. The staff are wonderful and everything is clean and well maintained. Highly recommend it for families or couples who are looking for a more quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Couldn't fault these apartments. Really good size for 4 of us and cleaned daily. The grounds and pool area were spotless. Great location for going into both Vilamoura and Quarteria. Would 100% recommend.

We stayed here for 5 nights (2 adults and 1 child, 13 years old) on a self-catering basis with a pool-view room. Arrival & Transfer The airport transfer was smooth — around 30–40 minutes by taxi, which was a relief after the usual chaos of Faro Airport. Hotel & Grounds The hotel itself was clean, with tidy, well-kept grounds. There are two pools; we mainly used the one by the café. It was generally easy to find sunbeds, though a few were reserved but not actually used. Room We booked a pool-view room, but in reality, our view was mostly blocked by trees, and the balcony stayed in the shade all day. This might be a plus if you like the shade, but we were hoping for more sun. The beds were okay, but the spare bed for our child was very creaky, so he ended up using the sofa instead. The kitchenette was equipped with pans, hob, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher — but no oven. Dining & Information Food prices were reasonable, but the information provided could be clearer. For example, the info sheet in the room said dinner was served 6:00–9:30 PM, but when we arrived at 6:00, we were told it was closed until 7:00. We had to leave since we had a taxi booked at 6:45 for a football match. Breakfast required pre-booking, but we weren’t told this anywhere, and there were no instructions in the room so were turned away one morning . The food we did have was nice enough. Location The location is okay. The nearest supermarket is about 10–15 minutes away, which can be tough on hot days when carrying water and drinks back. A small on-site shop would have been very handy or vending machine. The marina is a pleasant 15–20 minute walk; we sometimes took an Uber there and walked back. Overall The hotel is a bit dated in terms of rooms, but we enjoyed our stay overall. Clean, tidy, and comfortable enough, with a nice pool area. Some small improvements in communication and on-site convenience would make a big difference

We have just returned from a great week at Pinhal da Marina. Reception staff were great, room was spotless and very spacious. Quiet hotel with no mad dash for for sunbeds which was a huge bonus. Spar about a 10 mins walk and we were down at the marina in 20mins. We used the bolt app for getting back to the hotel, water park and to a couple of further away beaches was was brilliant and very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and we would return.
