Perfect location, friendly staff, fantastic massage, unique rooftop views! Spacious rooms with complimentary drinks and super comfortable bed. Restaurant recommendations from the reception desk were excellent. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Fantastic hotel, views, location and staff. This hotel has first rate rooms and suites. We booked a one bedroom suite and got a two bedroom suite upgrade. Huge amount of space and the facilities are first rate. Staff very friendly and speak perfect English. Breakfast was wonderful both in pots and pans and on the roof top - note you pay a €10 supplement for a roof top breakfast per person and it took a bit of negotiation before being allowed in! The cold food options are vast but the hot food more limited but by comparison with are next hotel much better. They really helped us choose a fabulous Duoro Valley Tour a little more expensive but only 6 people and the food and experience was well worth it. What I really liked was the choice of a free bottle of wine on arrival as well as a fridge full of soft drinks. All additional drinks really are reasonably priced. Only things to note that are minor is the ironing board in the room is a table top one and parking is a little more expensive that other hotels in the area.

This is a superb hotel. The position overlooking the Douro is beautiful but especially magical at night. The rooms are comfortable and having a kitchen facility is very convenient. All the staff are friendly and polite and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the highlight of our stay. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Thank you to all the staff who made our so enjoyable.

Hotel was Amazing! Loved it! Loved the Location but a little frustrating getting in and out hotel by car. Location is perfect in walking distance to the bridge, restaurants and tons of activities. Scenery was magnificent. Clean and Quiet. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Restaurants was delicious and again great staff. Loved our stay.

This is an amazing hotel, and none of the reviews do it justice. Amazingly helpful and cheerful staff, huge and beautifully appointed rooms and suites, beautiful views, delicious food, quiet yet accessible location, and so forth. The pool is small, but very relaxing after a long day walking in Porto or driving to the nearby towns. Do not hesitate - stay here!

We booked our trip rather late and could not get two rooms at this hotel however, we decided to go dine on their rooftop terrace and what a great brunch it was! We were very pleased with the quality of the food and service that deserves a A+. Our server was quite knowledgable in wines and mocktails alike. Entertaining part was the instagrammers with their posing. After a glass or two, we had a lof of chuckles watching them over the view !

🟢Buona la posizione, non in centro a Porto e per questo più silenziosa. Si arriva comunque in centro a piedi o con un uber. 🟢Ottima la colazione, prodotti freschi e di qualità. Abbiamo provato anche il ristorante ed il bar in terrazza(vista splendida su Porto) in entrambi i casi non siamo rimasti delusi! Il personale gentile e disponibile. 🟢Stanze/suites bellissimi. Nuovi, ben tenuti, puliti e silenziosi. Il nostro appartamento dava su un giardino interno molto bello. 🟠Piccola spa, una piscina ed una sauna, disponibile su prenotazione per 45minuti a seconda delle disponibilità.

We (family of 4) stayed for 3 nights in the 2 bedroom suite. From the time that we stepped in, it was a luxurious experience. Check in was super smooth & before being shown the room, the staff walked us through the facility & explained some key points. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious, well maintained, and each room had a balcony with sit out. The amenities inside the room were top notch with the living room fitted with a retro Marshall bluetooth speaker. The kitchen area was well equipped & the bar was well stocked. We chose to have our buffet breakfast on the rooftop bar, that was a nice way to begin the day with some stunning views of the river & Luis Bridge. Breakfast was tasty & with adequate choice. Had dinner twice in the roof top bar & enjoyed the drinks, food & the views. Also used the Spa for massage treatments. All of the hotel's staff are very well trained & professional. The staff was helpful in sharing local travel tips & also arranged a rent car. The hotel is within walking distance of all the main Wine Cellars in the Villa Nova De Gaia area. Will be back again next year!
