Die Lobby ist sehr ansprechend mit bequemen Sitzmöbeln und Kamin ausgestattet. Wir haben mit 4 Personen eine Nacht in einem Familienzimmer des Hotels verbracht. Dieses Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da es über zwei Etagen verfügt. Es gibt eine kleine Kaffee-/Teebar. Das Bad war sehr schön, mit offener Dusche und hochwertigen Pflegeprodukte. Alles war perfekt sauber. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und lecker. Eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Hotel von unserer Seite!

The moment we came into the room, it smelled like food or someone just cooked. The window was opened and when I looked down, there were trash bins. Also, I realized that we were close to the kitchen. I am very sensitive to smell so there’s no way I’ll leave my window open. It was disappointing, so I called the front desk for a fan and an air freshener. She delivered quickly a standing fan and scent diffuser with sticks. The room is spacious, it has everything we needed. Great shower water pressure, my only issue is that the tiles in the shower could be really slippery. The shower and toilet amenities are from L’occitane. The lobby is modernized and very open leading to the restaurant. Breakfast buffet choices were simple but delicious. You could also refill your water bottle there or ask front desk.

What a disappointment. We were so looking forward to staying at this hotel. Booked over 4 months in advance. Paid a premium because it was summer, close to $500. The rooms look NOTHING like the photos. They gave us a room the size of a closet facing the entrance! We arrived late, which was clearly the kiss of death. I would not recommend this hotel.

Una struttura moderna in un paesino, Vik, dove non c’è assolutamente nulla. Va bene per una sosta di una notte durante il tour della costa sud dell’Islanda. Per quello che offre è decisamente fuori prezzo. Purtroppo, non ho trovato molte alternative… Per il resto camera molto basica, colazione nella norma, parcheggio ampio e gratuito di fronte all’hotel. Null’altro da segnalare…

The front desk has failing flooring, a glass Facade to the check in desk that is broken with glass shards on the floor, every corner in the place is busted, oh and there are CATS coming in the front door. The room looks nice at first glance but the doors are spring loaded and SLAM every time they shut. Not a quiet place. No outlets next to the bed - really? We were very disappointed and highly recommend staying elsewhere. The staff was not friendly either. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Had an amazing time for two nights with my family of four! Check in was easy and friendly. Rooms were comfy and spotless, hotel was beautifully decorated. They offer a laundry service that was efficient and a nice touch. The Berg restaurant was delicious. The breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of choices and the dinner menu has a lot of choices as well and is delicious. Perfect location to many places to explore and beautiful views.

the hotel is lovely on the inside, very clean and the staff were very helpful. they offer overnight laundry which was a big help. the rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds were comfy it just got hot and stuffy so we had to keep the window open. the restaurant was nice and very good we ate here whole time we stayed in vik. the breakfast buffet is huge, lots of options and all pretty good. dinner was good both nights we stayed here we got the steak, soup and pasta.

We stayed 3 nights, using Vik as a base for exploration of South Coast and beyond This hotel was lovely. Clean, well-appointed rooms with enough space, and a great breakfast. Dinners were outstanding! Staff was lovely. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay - clean, comfortable and fresh. Breakfast was delicious and included great vegan options for my friend. I would stay here again.
