Mixok Guesthouses Vietiane is located not far from the Mixok Inn, which I headed for first. The receptionist was a bit overwhelmed when I showed him the TRIP booking. He wanted to see something from AGODA.
Finally, he took photos of my reservation confirmation and passport. He gave me the room key. Everything was fine.
The room faced a side street and was quiet. The air conditioning worked. The room furnishings were a bit worn. The bathroom was appropriate for a low-budget stay.
The night market was a stone's throw away. The selection of fast food was great. Further toward the Mekong River, there were only clothing stalls and knick-knack stands—disappointing—as there was nothing to eat. Oh well, one can only dream.
