There is a shop selling Lao wood carvings next to the hotel lobby. Turn left and then right and walk for five minutes to a branch of the Lao Development Bank, which is very convenient for exchanging Lao currency. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the famous Sisak Temple, the Emerald Buddha Temple and the Presidential Palace.
