I was able to stay at a historic, top-class hotel, and it became a very good memory. I am very grateful that they changed my room to a larger type. My concerns are: 1) The front desk staff were all young, which is not what you would expect from a traditional hotel, so I was worried about how they would respond to my inquiries. (I wanted some extra memo paper, but they refused, saying they didn't have any at the moment.) 2) The TV channels were not great. The only sports I could see clearly were professional wrestling, and the other programs were quiet. However, it was a good opportunity to watch Russian broadcasts. 3) I applied without breakfast, but it was $60 per meal if ordered locally, so I should have booked with breakfast included.

Perhaps because it was the off-season, all the staff knew my name. The drink order at breakfast was passed on to the other staff, and the next day's breakfast was served without my request. I think the service is excellent in terms of how they treat their customers.

The hotel is not big, but the location is very good, close to several attractions. I especially like the hotel's bedding, which is very comfortable to sleep on. The price of 600+ a night is very suitable.

The hotel has a century-old history. The retro decoration is very good. The room is very private. There are special service staff at the front desk. Although the hardware is a bit backward, it fits the style of this hotel. I like it very much.
