The hotel has a long history. It was originally a warehouse, and later a concert hall. Mozart also held concerts here. Later, it became a luxury hotel with elegant decoration and old items everywhere. However, as someone who has stayed in hotels of the same price in Vienna, I can say responsibly that the breakfast is rather poor. Only the coffee machine is decent.

Hotel Ambassodor. Visited for a Christmas holidays. Excellent location, right in a center of pedestrian area in the center of old town. We had a suit on the sixth floor, under the roof with a view of St. Stefan. Two TVs, kitchen amenities, did not need to ask for a kettle. It was available along with coffee maker loaded with capsules. Excellent breakfast, Good service, clean suit. Quite satisfied.

The location is very good. It is very convenient to go to the city. The rooms are okay and moderate in size. However, some rooms are not directly accessible by the elevator, maybe because of the old building.

Excellent location. Very well maintained. Only issue is that coming from India we are accustomed to much higher hospitality standards and for this kind of money we can find some of the best hotels in India.

This is a safe and well-maintained hotel with a really central location. It was nice that the room had a high ceiling. However, there is no water (Austria says you can drink tap water, maybe that's why?!) and there is no coffee pot.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. 1- Rooms Were Filthy: The room was dirty from the moment I walked in. Clearly, the room service staff didn’t bother to clean properly. It was unacceptable, and it ruined my stay. 2- Aggressive Reception Staff: The reception staff were shockingly rude and aggressive. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, they acted like they couldn’t be bothered with any issues I had. 3- Terrible Treatment: I was treated with zero respect throughout my stay. They didn’t seem to care about making my stay comfortable or resolving any of my problems. 4- Rude Behavior with My Travel Agency: When my travel agent tried to step in and speak to them about the issues, they hung up on him mid-conversation! This level of unprofessionalism was shocking. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place doesn’t care about its guests at all.
