This was probably the nicest boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed. It was quite the value too. I’ve stayed at places that were three times the price and not as nice. The facilities, location, staff and service were excellent. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wir durften eine weitere wunderbare Woche im Guesthouse Vienna geniessen, dieses Mal haben wir uns sogar die Maisonette Suite gegönnt. Einrichtung, Service, menschlicher und familiärer Umgang mit dem Gast, das stimmt einfach alles. Bis bald!

We stayed two nights and booked the cheapest room. The room was clean and well furnished. Pillows were super soft but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom however was so small that housekeeping had to leave the clean towels in the sink. There was no storage and I had to use the toilet floor to put my clothes on. There was a thermostat for a heated towel rail but it did not exist! There is a well stocked (and mostly free) mini bar which includes bottles of wine that you can take the restaurant if you wish. Breakfast was very good and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The Guesthouse is very well located and it is an easy stroll to lots of sights. We would stay again but upgrade our room for a bigger bathroom.

Staff: Lovely greeting on arrival, even though we were the last to arrive they were happy to answer all our questions Always greeted us as we came and went for the day No kettles in the room (or none to borrow) but the lovely porters happily brought up little teapots, hot water and cold milk whenever we called down, always with a smile. Room: Wowzers!! We felt extremely lucky, we’d booked an Alberta facing room but got upgraded to the 8th floor with a little outside terrace and double floor room! (Even without this, we’d come back and stay as everything was perfect). We had fresh flower arrangements in the room! Lovely toiletries Lovely bedding It was warm when we stayed and the AC was great The room was immaculately clean. The window nooks out the front are amazing, super views over Albertina and the Opera House. We honestly couldn’t have been more impressed with our stay. It didn’t bother us but just to note that there isn’t a lobby as such, just the restaurant downstairs, so when we collected our luggage upon departure there isn’t anywhere really to sort anything out. Again, not we wouldn’t hesitate to come back but the room cleaner did open our door and then knock, I’d have suggested it was the other way around with a little wait to check if someone replies first. A huge thank you to everyone working there, we had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Guesthouse for 3 nights this week and we found it to be a truly excellent hotel. Close to attractions, faultlessly clean room and bathroom. The reception staff were very helpful and even offered to print our boarding passes. Our night time hot chocolate in the bar was one of the best. The minibar included free wine and beer as well as soft drinks. Can't recommend it enough.

Situated in a really good location. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel staff are very welcoming & friendly and will take your luggage to your room. The room is a good size and is clean. There is a full length mirror in the wardrobe & a safe. There is air con, but it isn't as cool as other hotels I've stayed in. It's a really nice hotel and I would recommend for people to stay here. The bakery within the hotel is lovely.

We stayed at the Guest House for 9 nights in April. Absolutely loved this hotel. Centrally located in the inner Stadt right across from the Albertina museum and the opera house. We were able to pretty much walk to most of the sites and for all our dinner reservations(many excellent restaurants within 10 min walk). Also,Karslplatz is down the block where you can take the underground to schonbrunner gardens or the tram to Belvedere museum. (The hotel even had transportation tickets you could buy from them instead of figuring out the ticket machines. ) The hotel also has a restaurant downstairs which is very popular with locals so make sure to make reservations for breakfast if want to eat there.

All the staff were amazing especially the Reception staff who were extremely helpful in giving us directions, booking restaurants, etc. Our room was extremely comfortable. The location was superb and means that it is easy to make the most of the lovely city.

Lovely hotel - we chose to upgrade to one of the opera view rooms and it was amongst the nicest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The room itself was big, with a seating area as well as a king-sized bed, and there was a well stocked fridge with lots of luxorious extras which were complimentary - including bottles of wine which were re-stocked every day! We loved the view as there was always lots to see, but despite being in the centre of the tourist area it was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Vienna. The only downside (which didn't really affect us) was that there was a very small reception area and no public areas to sit. Most of the places of interest in central Vienna were walking distance away so the position couldn't have been better.
