We stayed in the self catering lodges which are next to the more glamorous Safari Lodge but are very comfortable, well equipped and surrounded by wild life. There were 2 comfortable bedrooms, aircon in the main bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and fans in both rooms. The veranda is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon watching the game walk past. The staff are just lovely. Go for sundowners at the watering hole. Too beautiful. Highly recommend.

Lokuthula Lodges are family styled Chalets located on the fringe of the Zambezi National Park. There are no fences so expect to have Warthogs, Antelope, Monkeys and other animals freely wandering near the lodges. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Food was very good, particularly in the hotel restaurant. The Boma show and banquet is a must attend , although it pays to book asap as often fully booked while we were there. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend Lokuthula Lodges to anyone wanting to feel close to natural Africa but still have access to a bit of luxury and comfort.

Lokuthula Lodges provided an amazing experience for us across 4 days at Victoria Falls. The lodges are not only clean and comfortable, but the food on-site is also exceptional. The lodges are only a 10-minute ride away from town via shuttle (provided by the hotel) or Taxi, allowing for quick access to all local attractions, including restaurants, shopping and the Falls themselves. We also went on safaris at the nearby Zambezi National Park and Chobe National Park in Botswana, organized by the lodge. Dinner on-site was fabulous, including the Boma experience, and the spa provided an exceptional final, relaxing experience to end out trip. Highly recommend Lokuthula if you're planning your Vic Falls vacation.

Do Not book these lodges. The staff are rude, Full of attitude and not helpful. The lodges are run down with huge holes in the mosquito nets around the beds. The only reason we did not get bitten is because we had our own mosquito nets. The lodges have holes in roof which you could see daylight through and canvas back wall had holes and did not shut securely. The only nice thing about the lodges were the wildlife roaming around them.

Great place to stay. The restaurant and view is superb even as breakfast at Boma. Great bus service to and from town. Renovate the lodges and you would have earned 5 stars.

The lodge's location and surroundings are exceptional, with wildlife visible all around us. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the property is immaculate. The dining services are adequate, although a little overpriced and less typical compared to what we've experienced at other lodges. However, we were a little surprised by the temperature in the lodge in the morning, as much of the accommodation doesn't have solid walls, making it too cold in the dining area and bathroom, as there was no heating except in the master bedroom. As soon as the temperature rises outside, it's better. Fan heaters should be provided for the African winter months.

Unique experience! Wildlife roaming. Great views. Great service! Wonderful area tucked away, with the ability to get a shuttle to the main town. Highly reccomend for families
