Great option for Victoria Falls
While the toilet broke down twice during my stay, I still felt very comfortable at Cresta Sprayview and would definitely stay there again. I‘d been nervous to visit Simbabwe as a single female traveler but Cresta picked me up from the airport on time and allowed me to check in early. The bed with the many pillows and mosquito net are way better than the category of the hotel suggests. Pool is a little cool but beautiful. I will say that I hadn’t realized the motel-like quality of the rooms which you enter from the outside where the cars of the other travelers are parked. That initially worried me a little but after a day, I felt at ease. The 2 bottles of water and some very nice toiletries are complementary and the safe works well. What really made the place nice was the attentiveness of the staff…the shuttle driver not only took me into town but also to the big tree. The reception always called the activity companies for me though I had booked those privately. The staff in the restaurant was very nice, too. Overall, I wished, I could have stayed longer. If you are looking to spend your cash on activities rather than an expensive river lodge, the Cresta Spraview is a magnificent option. Plus, it was pretty much mosquito-free which was a nice surprise.
