I cannot sing the praises of Shongwe Lookout enough - the location is great, room & bathroom very clean, restaurant & bar have a wide selection and it truly feels like an oasis in Victoria Falls. However, I have to highlight the exceptional services of the concierge Muku. From the moment I arrived Muku expertly handled all of my excursions including car transfers and gave me the best recommendations for activities to do to make the most out of my time In Victoria Falls - the service was seamless and fabulous all around. I have stayed at many top hotel chains in the world from Mandarin Oriental to The Fairmont and Muku’s knowledge and Muku’s service truly stands out as second to none. The only issue I faced on the trip was the poor service of the tour company (Wild Horizons) - Muku requested a game drive for me in The National Park and the tour company incorrectly booked me on a private game drive instead at the wrong preservation, which made me almost miss my flight. However, Muku dealt with the situation as best as he could by getting the fare difference refunded - in all honesty as this was simply not the service I requested and I had actually done a private game drive 2 days prior to Wild Horizon’s oversight, I felt that the company should have refunded me entirely in good faith. Regardless, my stay at the hotel and Victoria Falls more broadly was exceptional thanks to Muku. Looking forward to visiting again !

Außergewöhnliche, wunderschöne Lodge in Victoria Falls. Eine Kombination aus alt und neu fügt sich sich perfekt ineinander - dies verleiht dem Hotel ein ganz besonderes Flair. Service freundlich und zuvorkommend, Essen hervorragend, wunderschönes Pool in einem exotischen Garten.

We had a glitch on the first day with a sliding-glass door not locking, but they tried to fix and then moved me to another room after I'd already unpacked. Not a fun start, but the rest of the trip was great. The lobby staff are very friendly and helped me arrange several rides with some great drivers. The food was quite good, the bar staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were spotless and well-appointed. The place felt safe for a solo woman traveler.

Das Hotel überzeugt vor allem durch seine großartige Lage in der Nähe der Victoriafälle. Besonders der Aussichtsturm bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Wasserfälle. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, das Personal stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Poolbereich ist schön, allerdings gibt es leider zu wenige Liegen und Platz zum Entspannen. Das Essen und die Getränke sind qualitativ gut, aber im Vergleich eher teuer. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in dieser beeindruckenden Region.

Amazing place, amazing staff and great food. Located close to Vic falls. Well maintained facility. Neat and extremely clean and the staff are super supportive. Loved this place. Given a chance i will surely return to this amazing lodge. Hats off to the management.

A beautiful lodge in Victoria Falls. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable, large and good showers and good beds. Conveniently located to visit the falls (short ride). Staff is very friendly. Good restaurant on premises! Breakfast is very good as well.
