Room has everything you need with plenty of space. The view from the balcony is awesome. Rooms were very clean. It is an older property but appears to be well maintained and managed. Was in a nice location for setting out on the Cabot trail. Would definitely stay here again.

I accept finance dictates maintenance or renovation. However it takes no effort to pick up garbage. The facility was disgusting with garbage around the grounds. Smell of human sewage on the front lawn. I can only assume the septic system is leaking.

We had stayed at this location on numerous occasions in the past. The location is ideal and has all the amenities within close proximity. This hotel “was once” well kept and cared for. The last visit to the location was very disheartening to say the least. To make this review short. The room was not clean. Dirty and stained duvets that should be discarded. The fridge was not cleaned and the room could use a new one. The radiator in the bathroom was very dusty. There was dust hanging from the ceiling. It was an overall disappointment. The door had a gap that you could see outside when locked and closed. No iron but an ironing board. NOTHING LIKE THE PICS!! If the owner does not want to invest in this property, sell it to someone who will. As a business owner to a business owner. You’re letting a beautiful property run into the lake in front of you!!

Loved the live music at the pub, food was good, staff were friendly, beautiful views, outdoor basketball court was a big hit and my oldest liked the gym set-up; only downfall is an outdoor pool instead of indoors.
