Hotel Mary

Location: Proximity to the military base’s walk-in gate, nearby local amenities , and frequent bus services .

The location was very convenient, maybe a five minute walk from the walk-in gate of the Vicenza military base. There is a lovely bakery cafe and a gelateria across the street, and on the block behind is a good doner kebab shop. Staff was friendly and helpful. They let us leave our bags at the desk after we checked out so we could get breakfast. Rooms were clean. A few very slight caveats, more about preference than anything else: I did not care for the pillows. They just squished to nothing and provided no support. And the showers (stayed in two different rooms as we passed through Vicenza and back) were... odd. Not like I'm an American in Europe odd. Like, water pressure and shower head odd. And both bathrooms were completely different, so no figuring their quirks out. But hey, I could get clean. Oh, if it matters to you, they were equipped with bidets. All in all, a decent hotel for a reasonable price. I would stay here again.
