It’s in a quiet, rural and peaceful setting, so you need your own mode of transportation to get there but it’s absolutely worth it. The views are stunning and you’re surrounded by nature and peace and quiet. Giovanni, the owner is wonderful and provides breakfast to guests, and you can let him know if you require other meals - he has a restaurant on site that’s open to locals and guests of the hotel. The dinner we had was one of the best meals of my life - everything is sourced locally and made on site. There’s a pool on site which was wonderful for our visit in the summer and the rooms were comfortable and large. Definitely try out this location if you’re looking for an authentic Italian farm stay experience.

Silenzio e pace, a due passi dai castelli di Canossa e Rossena raggiungibili attraverso sentieri quasi deserti. Piscina incantevole e quasi tutta a nostra disposizione. Una delizia le costine di maiale cotte a bassa temperatura con patate al forno che di solito si possono mangiare solo dalla mamma. Infine due parole per l'oste apparentemente silenzioso e dall'occhio diabolico ma che si è rivelato un ottimo padrone di casa. Ritorneremo

Giovanni was an amazing host and an excellent chef. The apartment suite was comfortable and simply outstanding. We had terrific nights sitting on our private patio.
The swimming pool was absolutely welcoming.

We only got to stay for 1 night and it rained so unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool or explore the property to its full potential. Even with that said it was one of our favorite nights of a 12 week Italy roadtrip. The owner was great - even though the restaurant on property was meant to be closed, he opened it just for us and cooked us the most incredible meal. We loved it so much we bought the seasoning as a souvenir. The renovated farm was charming and we would love to return someday.

Location splendida, in un borgo molto carino. Bella l’atmosfera, ambiente rustico. Ma il cibo non è granché, prezzi cari per la qualità offerta: tagliere di salumi scarso, con gnocco molto unto. Cappellacci un po’ crudi e molto bagnati nel burro. Dolce discreto. Camerieri un po’ improvvisati.

Hai bisogno di un pausa lontano dalla gente e in mezzo alla natura? di refrigerarti in una bella piscina e aria condizionata in camera? Ti piacciono gli asinelli e magari vuoi portare il tuo cagnolino? Ca Del Ciuco allora fa per te! Personale gentilissimo e attento, piatti tipici a km 0, ambiente curatissimo e il profumo di torta appena sfornata é sempre nell'aria. L'alba vista comodamente dal letto é stata indimenticabile, così come le puntine al miele, favolose! Continuate così!!!
