After looking into hotel options in Sibiu, we decided to take our chance and drive 1 more hour during our journey from Budapest to Bucharest. After arriving we were blown away by the comfort level. We wanted to experience a fire place idyll in Romania. Well, we got more than just a fireplace in a converted barn ...the whole experience got so much better with the soft piano jazz that was playing. We were also offered local Schnaps. Dinner was more than satisfying and so was the breakfast buffet. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A place that proofs that simple things in life are so much more rewarding. Well done. We will come back. Note: Weekends will get busy and you will need a reservation.

The area and the hotel itself are so charming and the hosts are so incredibly nice and welcoming. We traveled us a couple, and I found the place quiet and romantic but it has a huge garden, chickens , donkeys ,dogs, so it's very well suited for families with young children. It would be a pleasure to visit the place again and I would recommend it without a doubt.
