We had a very nice and original room in the backyard. The location of the hotel is very central. Perhaps the only thing to complain about is the quality of the breakfast. It wasn't bad, but didn't quite fit the stylish accommodation.

A beautiful and unique hotel with great charm. Family run and welcoming. An opportunity to stay in an elegant, authentic and traditional hotel.
The Secret Garden breakfast setting was lovely and breakfast was very pleasant.
There is a nice little lounge area where you can make yourself a hot drink and find a book or magazine to read.
The rooms are nicely decorated and furnished with modern ensuites. Air conditioning being a welcome feature in hot weather.
The owners are obliging and helpful.
A more authentic stay than modern or chain hotels.

The hotel met all my expectations. The room was nice and unfortunately faced the street, but with the windows closed the noise was at its limit.
Functional and friendly reception. Breakfast was more than good and plentiful.

Hotel Scalzi is a beautiful hotel. Our room (and the whole hotel) was very clean and comfortable. All the staff we met were very friendly. Breakfast was good and on a nice day you can sit outside in the courtyard.
The only issue was the wall adjoining the next room was quite thin and we were woken up when they came in (we could hear their conversation and TV).

Hotel confortavel, atendimento educado, café da manha simples mas gostoso. Fica muito proximo da estação então se você vier de trem e estiver cansado é ótimo mas não fica perto das atrações e area movimentada. A área é silenciosa e não possui muitos restaurantes. O banheiro não tem janela assim fica dificil de secar roupas e toalhas.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and also right on the edge of the old town so very convenient.
Situated on the ground and first floor of an old palace it is a beautiful building, very authentic.
Breakfast was continental, with plenty of choice.
Very good and I would stay there again.
