Extraordinary experience in the very heart of Verona. A very interesting concept with excellent taste in decor an interior design, very unique. Curated hospitality and excellent hosts. Totally recommended to stay here if you are visiting Verona.

A very warm welcome from the owner Matteo and he is rightly proud of the excellent business he has built. Very comfortable and just a few minutes walk from the arena and city centre. Room only but lots of drinks and snacks provided as part of the deal. We will be returning next year.

We had the pleasure of staying at Butterfly, set in the owners' ancestral home, now converted - with tremendous style, and no cut corners - into luxurious rooms. We met Laura's partner when we checked in and he could not have been more charming and more helpful. He directed us to some spectacular restaurants - he is a real foodie so take his recommendations seriously. Butterfly is deeply personal for them, and it shows in the love that has been poured into the place. This is not a hotel, so you don't pay for all the stuff that goes with that (I don't travel to go to a gym, and prefer to eat and drink with the locals). Instead you get to enjoy a room that any 5* hotel would be proud of, within walking distance of everything that matters in Verona. We'll be back for sure.

My wife and I only stayed one night in Verona, but the hotel was fantastic! The couple who own the hotel were very nice and helpful, as was the one staffer we met. The room was very comfortable. It's definitely a small, boutique hotel. And, the location was fantastic. We walked everywhere we wanted to go -- very nice not to need a car.

It is a hostel with hotel prices. It is a flat in a building divided into a few rooms. They rent you a spacious modern room but without any of the services that a hotel can offer. There are people the day you arrive and the day you leave because they ask you your schedule but the rest of the time when you go to your room there is no one, it looks like a ghost place. At night you enter a building without light where there is no one and it is not pleasant. For this price you go to a hotel where you have services that make your stay luxurious. Being able to have breakfast and go out to visit the city without having to go back to your room from the street to brush your teeth or when you return to your room you can ask a local about the city or have a smile to greet you on your return and not a cold keyboard where you can dial your password.

Butterfly was a perfect location for us. We stayed at the end of September. Laura Matthau Gina and Marco gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. They definitely deserve 5 Stars the service was fantastic and very helpful. We stayed in room one and were so pleased with the suite. The quality was wonderful clean bright and a pleasure to stay in. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. We look forward to staying with them again. Whoever book with Butterfly will not be disappointed. The Birtwistle

Gian Matteo und Laura sind sehr darauf bedacht, dass ihre Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Uns hat die hochwertige Zimmerausstattung (Farben und Formen) sehr gut gefallen. Man kann sich sofort wohlfühlen. Die angebotenen Getränke und Konfiserie wurden immer aufgefüllt und waren nie abgezählt. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Badezimmerartikel waren sehr gut. Eigentlich brauchte man zu diesen nur noch seine persönliche Produkte ergänzen. Dies alles macht einen nächsten Aufenthalt sehr einfach und angenehm.

This wonderful collection of suites is a find - beautifully hidden away and definitely one of Verona's best kept secrets. We couldn't have been happier with the beautiful rooms, the location and the wonderful Marco to look after us, he was so kind and helpful. Everything was superb, from the exquisitely comfy bed to the fabulous bathroom, & living room, all carrying that unique Italian pizzazz that made it so good. We can't recommend it highly enough, and will quite definitely return.
