2-Star Hotels in Vernon

Our 11-person chartered car traveled from Vancouver to Banff for a week-long tour. On the first day, we spent the night at Vernon. We booked 5 twin rooms at Marriott Hotel on Ctrip. During the summer vacation, the price of 800 yuan was very high.

This place had everything we were looking for. Convenient, affordable and clean. Thank you!

The room was clean to a point. However, I felt granular dirt on my feet when I walked in the room. Also, the bottom of my feet turned pitched black, almost like the floor had not been mopped. There were also stains running down the wall in my room. However, the furnishings were really nice and the Internet worked fast. Great mini-fridge, large television. I feel really divided on this place -- 2-3 stars but posted two because cleanliness is a big deal to me. Also, they got rid of the free breakfast blaming Covid-19 but I don't know that the price went down. Places that serve food are offering take-away during these times, not sure why this place doesn't. All in all, not a great place.

When the fires were burning in Kelowna we decided to get out. We drove up to Vernon arriving there about midnight. Despite the late hour, we managed to get a room at the Silver Star. The couple running the motel couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was extremely reasonable. We liked the location too, as it was walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. We were very thankful to find a place to stay on such short notice, since hundreds of others were also looking for a place to stay. We are happy to recommend this motel to others.

Aircon not good and premise needs good cleaning

We stayed here twice in the month of July. Pet friendly rooms with separate bedroom for under$200. The pool was clean and there is a seating area next to a creek that you would never know you were right downtown. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Two 1.5-sized beds can satisfy a family of 4. There is a small indoor swimming pool. I played in it for a while. The water temperature was warm, but the sauna didn't work, so I went back to the room to wash up. It is surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants, which is very convenient. There is no breakfast in the hotel itself, but there is a Western restaurant on the first floor. As a transit hotel from Banff on the way back to Vancouver, it provided a good rest.

Located across from Vernon Square Shopping Centre the Prestige Hotel Vernon is conveniently located close to business recreational and shopping areas. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy the many nearby beaches parks golf courses and ski resorts. Our central location offers easy access to Vernons downtown shops and other attractions. Gracious service and attention to detail are standards guests can depend on.

Very good, very good, I want to live again.
