Marriot branded modern new and clean...but rather strange rooms (in our opinion). Separate toilet and shower rooms, both with sinks and translucent sliding glass doors. Bothersome at night when one goes into the toilet and turns on the light that floods the bed with light. No hooks or towel racks, no hooks in room for you jacket. ...very chic but where do you hang your towel after a shower? We stayed two night and the room was not cleaned. Excellent wi-fi/brekkie and parking all around. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker but no room safes. Lighting good.

Excellent stay. The staff was friendly; the room was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. The design and layout is clever. Breakfast was good and the fresh-baked cookies are a nice touch. There was something going on with the pool area, causing the room to overheat, but a propped door solved the issue. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I spent two nights at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. We made good use of the closet and chest of drawers with plenty of storage for a couple days. We liked the bathroom layout with the toilet and one sink in a separate area from the other area with the shower and other sink. It made getting ready in the morning much easier and quicker. The hotel is quiet at night and the breakfast included what we needed to get our day started. Parking was convenient and the location was more or less in the middle of Vernal in terms of shopping, restaurants, etc. We would definitely recommend !!

This is my first negative review, ever! Travelers, beware, because there are better hotels in Vernal at half the price. Here's our experience in brief. When checking in, I explained to the attendant that good internet was critical to us and was assured that, while it wasn't dependable in daytime it was "solid" at night. It was 4 PM, so that was fine. Spent the evening reconnecting (and I'm not exaggerating here) 60 times, never having a sustained connection for more than 6 or 7 minutes, mostly immediate disconnects There was no one on duty who seemed capable of helping (I tried). To add insult to injury, it was a 96 degree day in Vernal, and our unit (#321) was 74 upon arrival, and took an hour to get to 72 where it stayed. We had it set for 68, which the thermostat allowed, but 72 was all it would go. That meant no bedcovers for a hot sleeper. This, from Vernal's (and Marriott's) "finest." I spoke with several people about these issues upon checkout but they all referred me to the manager (who wasn't working). They were all pleasant, but unhelpful. I just wanted them to know the internet wasn't working and the AC wasn't either, a thing you do to alert them. They all referred me to talk with the manager, and gave me a card. I called 2 days later after arriving home (which they suggested I do). The manager (April) listened to my brief review and said "I'll look into this and get back to you within an hour." Seven hours later she called, telling me I was wrong about the internet ("We had no one else complain" -- thereby discounting our experience entirely) and "we are so close to California that we restrict our AC to save energy." Yes, honest, she said that. Proximity to California = an ecosensitivity by Marriott. Really, she said that. So . . . 72 degrees at night. But here's the kicker: she offered me $10 to "compensate" us. Really. I wasn't looking for a rebate (our night was $275), but that's such an insult, and she was such an officious, corporate voice that her $10 triggered this review. I like Marriott. We stay at other Mariotts. I don't write critical reviews of hotels or restaurants or resorts. But this hotel is low grade. Stay away. There's a Holiday Inn close by.

This is an entirely adequate hotel with a courteous staff and an exceptional degree of cleanliness and order. Although I would happily stay here again there are some deficiencies that warrant discussion. The first night I asked for a wake up call at 540 am. No call was received-fortunately, I awoke unassisted. Breakfast was to have been available from 600 am. When I arrived at 610, the breakfast buffet was not available. It took the staff until nearly 630 to have their preparations completed. Not only did I have no breakfast, my departure for a scheduled event was delayed. Although these are failings of individual employees, it seems management supervision is sadly lacking. But for these complaints, this is a superior hospitality operation.

The hotel is very clean and the staff was great. There was a lot of snow on the ground and not many places left to plow it to. However, the parking was clear of snow. The only problem was the water on the 4th floor never became very hot. I would stay here again.

A last-minute weekend getaway to visit the nearby Dinosaur National Monument meant hotel rates were extremely high ($249 / night), but the SpringHill Suites looked like one of the nicer properties in town (it is). As a loyal Hilton member, I'm not familiar with this chain or brand, but I was impressed. My room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and quite lovely. The hotel is located in a busy area with a Cafe Rio in the parking lot. Free parking, and the lot was well lit and felt safe. The hotel was bustling with families, and the woman at the front desk seemed a bit frazzled. I didn't find the service here to be top-notch, but I'm sure that's a result of one and two night visitors. I can't imagine they get a bunch of repeat business, just due to the area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. The hotel smelled and felt new, with furnishings that were in excellent condition. This wasn't a luxury property, but it was a cut above more mid-range hotel chains. I was comfortable during my stay. The hotel provided a laughable free breakfast, and I would skip it unless you are truly starving. All in all, this is one of the nicer places to stay in Vernal.

On check in no upgrade or bottled water for Bon-voy member. First room had AC so loud it was intolerable back down stairs for key to different room. Walls paper thin, noise from other guests talking loudly in hall and slamming doors throughout the night. Breakfast was really good first day clean, fully stocked and attendant on duty.... second day was everything but. Pool area okay but small, you have to check out towels from front desk. Parking is tight and shared with ***** center and other hotel careful walking across lot cars zoom by constantly in evening.

The hotel was very clean, halls, lobby, seating areas (inside & outside)!! The room was very clean & housekeeping every other day. The room was layed out well, seating area with couch & desk & TV could be turned around to see in there or turn it so you could see from bed. Loved the toilet was in its own little room, with sink & mirror. The shower & other sink was good too. The only drawback was light to put on makeup wasn’t the best. Shower pressure was great. Had to unplug something at bed so we could charge 2 phones & my cPap machine. Very large closet, with ironing board but no safe that we could find. We would have liked a TV channel guide to relax at night with TV. We had no idea what was on.
