Stanza pulita e ampia, TV con pochissimi canali visibili, arredamenti piuttosto datati. La colazione (che viene servita solo in camera) è molto scarsa e di bassa qualità con croissant secco e caffè freddo. Titolare gentile, parcheggio privato.

Con cinque colleghe abbiamo alloggiato per una notte all’Hotel Matteotti in occasione di una conferenza all’università di Vercelli. Alle 11.30 ci è stato detto che non era possibile fare il check in perché era ora di pranzo e le stanze dovevano ancora essere pulite. Pur essendoci proposte di passare per la sola registrazione ci è stato detto di tornare “dalle 15”. Solo la metà di noi si è potuta assentare dal lavoro per fare il check-in nel pomeriggio e ha proposto ai proprietari di comunicare i dati di chi non poteva presentarsi e ritirare le chiavi. Impossibile: anche il pagamento doveva essere anticipato. Alle 21.40, durante la cena della conferenza, la proprietaria ci ha telefonato intimandoci letteralmente di presentarci per il check-in entro le 22. Siamo riuscite a raggiungere l’hotel alle 22.30 e, da dietro un vetro opacizzato, il proprietario ci ha rimproverate per il ritardo, ha preteso molto bruscamente il pagamento anticipato e altrettanto bruscamente ha risposto quando gli abbiamo fatto notare che nessuna di queste informazioni (check-in entro le 22 e pagamento all’arrivo) ci era stata segnalata al momento della prenotazione. Bruscamente è un eufemismo. Il mio evidente stato di gravidanza non mi ha risparmiato lo scambio a toni accesi con il proprietario, i due piani di scale e la stanza impregnata di odore di fumo. L’hotel è dignitoso, la colazione abbondante e i bagni grandi e confortevoli. Peccato un’esperienza tanto sgradevole.

Mi son trovato in un momento di necessità avevo bisogno di un tetto sulla testa e x varie ragioni ho scelto questo hotel! Che dire da subito mi son sentito a casa😊 che dire Sabrina la titolare del hotel è una persona semplicemente fantastica, sia a livello gestionale della struttura sia sotto il livello umano! Mi ha fatto da subito sentire a mio agio😊 se venite a Vercelli scegliete con fiducia questa struttura xche rimarrete soddisfatti dalla qualità e anche dal prezzo! E sarete coccolati dalla cameriera Giusy che con il suo sguardo dolce, vi farà sentire come a casa! Veramente bravi a tutto lo staff e ancora un grazie di ❤️ x tutto!

Un albergo che combina aspetti molto positivi ad altri che lasciano interdetti, ma complessivamente, ci tornerei. Parto dai primi: camera molto grande e pulita, bagno enorme, serramenti adeguati, rapporto qualità prezzo valido, servizio efficiente. Poi, i lati curiosi (o almeno, ciò che è successo a me). Reception che apre alle 15. Io non lo sapevo e mi sono trovato di fronte a una porta chiusa, aperta nel giro di pochi minuti grazie a una telefonata e un gentile addetto. Il corridoio puzza di fumo, ma le camere, o almeno la mia, era immacolata. Portano la colazione solo in camera, con relativa sveglia. Croissant buono e fresco, il resto di qualità industriale/media e confezionato. Sarebbero tre pallini e mezzo, ma scelgo di abbondare, anche se ci sarebbe da lavorare un po', e di prendere qualcuno per gestire la reception anche il mattino.

We stayed at Hotel Mattiotti for a single night earlier this week. The owner and a staff member were on hand to assist where possible but the hotel is now very old and tired and requires a lot of maintenance. Among other things the bathroom door could not be secured and there were blown light globes. The room furniture is in desperate need of replacement and the elevator is also not working. Although it was a very basic breakfast we did appreciate it being brought up to the room at the specified time. This hotel is a lot more rough than other reviews I read suggest and I made the decision to stay based on those reviews.
