The location is great. In the morning, you will be woken up by the sound of the tide. You can walk along the path to the beach. The beach is not crowded and the sand is fine. The only problem is that the parking space is not controlled, so there will be more than one room and more cars, which will make people unable to park in the hotel parking lot later. Parking is a problem, but the owner of the hotel has other businesses in the local area, so it still provides nearby parking spaces for parking, which is a considerate service. We have stayed here three times. We love the friendly staff! They are the best! The rooms are clean. We have always had parking within steps of our room. The location within a very short walking distance of the beach is fantastic! Restaurants and fro-yo are so close. This is a lovely, somewhat vintage, establishment with a beachy vibe! The customer service cannot be beat. We will be back!

The atmosphere is friendly. I felt like I was hanging out with friends. It's convenient to the beach and several good eateries. It's the first place I've stayed at that has a BBQ area. It's also conveniently located near the 101 Seaward Ave off ramp, between the 33 and 126.

Great location right on the beach what more can you ask fo. affordable prices. great parking. Clean house and plenty of towels and things you need. !!!! We come every year this is the place we like to stay. Owner is very nice.. if you are in Ventura, looking for a beach house, I recommend this one.

The Shores Inn is a great place to stay at. The staff was amazing very accommodating!!! The rooms were very big and spacious. Very close to the beach, with a couple bars on each side on your walk there. That was a plus. Definitely recommend!!!!

The King Suite was super cool with a balcony and plenty enough room for two adults and two kids or even two couples. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and really helpful, and full of suggestions for food and entertainment. When booking, book directly through hotel.

Everything was great! The beds are very comfortable, love having the fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Everything was in working order, and all the staff have been so friendly and helpful! The patio outside our room was my fav place to relax with my drink/snack/phone (other than on the sand!).

Very basic hotel 2 min away from the beach. Close to wonderful places to eat. Our studio room was clean and had everything for a weekend getaway. My husband loved the jetted tub in the room. The woman who runs this place is very professional, friendly and welcoming. Will stay there again.

Very close to beach. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Matthew at the front desk was welcoming and very knowledgeable of the area and full of suggestions. Matthew being my first staff member when checking in made me feel better about my stay. Affordable and of good value for the money. Quiet.
