Cliff House Inn

beautiful location, right on the sea, nice restaurant with tables also on the garden over the cliffs

I recently stayed here. The location is amazing but the Inn really felt like the Motel 6 to say the least. First off, they gave me the wrong room but all that means to anyone who reads this, make sure to confirm the room you're ACTUALLY getting. Second, the shower had broken tile and their solution? TAPE. you heard me right... Pay the price of a luxury resort hotel to get TAPE on the bottom of their really outdated and old stand up shower. Next, the furniture in the room looks like it was purchased from the GOODWILL down the street. It was beaten up and had missing handles. The outlet sockets were all broken and flimsy. There was loose wiring sticking out of the wall and the MATTRESS WAS MOLDY. Oh! And the breakfast, diabetes galore. It's supermarket pastries, bread, and orange juice. There was no hot breakfast. I brought up my concerns with the hotel directly and they said "well if you brought up while you were there, we could try to do something for you in real time"... Well I did bring it up and I was told to contact management which I did and that was their response. Lastly, BE CAREFUL ON CHECKOUT DAY... They like to clear your room before you're even ready to check out. An hour before check out, I found housekeeping in our room and they had tossed all our food from the fridge. I was told I would get compensated and NO THEY DID NOT PAY ME BACK TO FOR THE FOOD THEY TOSSED. Sad excuse of a place and greedy management. Would not recommend AT ALL. Take your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

Very busy could not seep there at all. If you go there to rest don’t. The view is good.
