Staying at Al Theatro Palace Hotel was like stepping into a beautifully preserved piece of Cape Verdean heritage, seamlessly blended with contemporary comforts. Obviously told me to check out at 12:00, but at 11:30 when I was changing clothes, a person swiped in without knocking on the door. Later, I went to the front desk theory and got a sentence: ”it is a mistake” In fact, I really want to give 1 star. But when I checked in, I caught up with the heavy rain. The front desk brother gave me a towel very intimately. The staff who ate on the top floor at night were also very nice, very attentive and the service was particularly enthusiastic. So give 2.5, if there is no 11:30 thing, I am very happy to give full marks. Going out is the bus stop, convenient transportation. If you like to go, I didn't say it. The room is small, but the solo trip is very enough. There was a welcome letter and candy in the room when I checked in. The impression was really good at the beginning. 🙄

Good location near to vaporetto stops for murano, islands and airport as well as the grand canal. Multi lingual hotel staff are knowledgeable and helped to book good local restaurants and assisted in booking a private water taxi back to the airport. hot water, complementary coffee and snacks were available during the day. Air conditioned rooms were very comfortable in the heat and high humidity of the stay.

A beautiful hotel in possibly the best location in Venice - away from the crowds but only a 10 minute water taxi from St Marks Square. The rooftop pool and bar provide a stunning view. All staff very helpful and welcoming making our stay perfect. We would not hesitate to return to the hotel.

Hotel is amazingly located between the Rialto Bridge and St Marks, it’s also 4 min walk to the Academia bridge and water bus stop. Staff were very friendly on check in, for breakfast and at the bar. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of cold and some hot options, defiantly something for everyone. Our room was quite small but when in Venice I wouldn’t expect to be in the room for much more than sleeping!!!

We had a lovely 3 nights stay in this hotel. Breakfast was great and beyond our expectation. Staff were friendly and Matti stood out being so kind and helpful with all our inquiries. Facilities was good enough for our needs. Location was really excellent just walkable to St Mark's Basilica & its nearby attractions & water transportations to other pride of Venice. Thank you to the management of Hotel Mercurio, overall it's a thumbs up for us! 👍

1 minute walk from St. Mark's Square and 5 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge. The front desk is also available 24 hours a day, so there is a sense of security. There was a gondola from the front desk, and I was able to leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast was delicious too! It's a long-established store, so the closet smelled a little musty, but after leaving it alone for a day, the smell went away!

Exiting Venice train station, the hotel is just 50 meters to your right after crossing the bridge. The location is incredibly convenient. Every staff member was friendly and proactively offered assistance. One staff member in the restaurant had a family who used to live in Shanghai and had a very positive impression of China; we chatted with them daily, making our stay very comfortable. The rooms have a charming, vintage Italian style. You need to leave your room key at the front desk when you go out, which is for safety reasons as the key has both the hotel name and room number on it. Right outside the hotel entrance is a gondola dock, which is really convenient. Prices range from 90 to 150 euros, depending on the boarding point and the area you visit. Unfortunately, there are no discounts for children, so it's not cheap! We paid 90 euros per person.

The hotel is 2 minute walk to the train station but in a quiet small lane which is great. It is a little far away from all the sights which is ok. Breakfast was superb and they offered to prepare takeaway breakfast pack. Minor imperfection was the bathroom door was a bit jammed and does not open well.

No physical reception. Hotel difficult to find by the address given. We had to put the name of the hotel located opposite to find it more easily. Once in front of it, you have to call the number written on the door and it was not correct, however I had the one indicated in the reservation. Once inside, there is a pocket with the name and the room key on the reception counter and we have to look for our room. to just arrive, drop off your suitcases and leave it is okay but otherwise I would not recommend it.
