The scenery of Venice is great. This hotel is located in the center of the main island, and it is relatively convenient to walk anywhere. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the train station. The hotel is relatively old (all hotels on the island are old buildings), so there is no elevator. You have to walk up the stairs with your luggage to the room.

The location is not very central but sufficient. There are towels in the room as well, so don't expect anything else. Unfortunately, its ventilation is not very good. Hotel is located in a great part of Venice, 10min of slow walk to the center, great restaurant right across the street. We've booked a room for 3 nights with breakfast which was satisfying with lots of pastries and local food although there was no vegetables or fruit. I recommend this hotel due to its price and value ratio. Our room was in Pantalon hotel, we needed late check in and staff was extremely helpful and kind, thanks to Emilia! Our stay was very pleasant. Keep in mind that when it's cold outside you need to close the window covers

Buffet breakfast, very average, they wouldn’t even make toast when asked. Needs a refurb. Note for the mobility challenged, there are a lot of stairs and if you have luggage, very difficult to get to your room. On the plus side, great location, near restaurants and visitors sites, definitely take mosquito spray.
